Seems to work, but dries skin.
I really want to like this stuff but I'm thinking more and more that putting alcohol on your skin is just bad. This stuff works at reducing blemishes and redness... but so does everything else with salicylic acid. I think the alcohol base is an impediment—it definitely dries out oily skin, but that can lead to flaking and a rebound in oiliness as your skin responds to being damaged. If I use this every day I do get flaky skin. If I didn't moisturize right after, I'm sure it would be a lot worse.
This stuff makes really nice hot chocolate. I make it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and I sweeten it with agave nectar. It's unsweetened so it's way too bitter to take on its own (and I like black coffee). I don't notice any mushroomy taste. It seems energizing, definitely more than a regular hot chocolate but in a way that is nothing like a caffeine buzz and not nearly as physically stimulating (which is a good thing for me, most of the time). Really novel product and not a bad price.
This is the best
This stuff is great, I have it every morning and every night. I look forward to it first thing every morning, the fizziness and stevia-(sugar-free)-sweet slightly acidic fruity flavour makes my mouth feel refreshed. It also helps me poop. I had to have senna tea all the time before, but magnesium is better and gentler than taking a stimulant laxative. I'm sure I was magnesium deficient before but I probably am not now. This is something we totally rely on.
Non-GMO is necessary
GMO soy is not something I want. It's good in smoothies. I only take a teaspoon, not a tablespoon, based on my doctor's Rx and the price of taking more.
