Not for eczema

Posted by iHerb Customer on Feb 03, 2014 | Verified Purchase

I originally bought it for my eczema since I've read good things about carrot oil, and applied it to the areas where I have rashes but it started to itch and sting my skin. It even stung my partners finger tips after he touched the bottle and he doesn't have any sort of skin condition either. I did some research later and soy bean oil is an irritant and shouldn't be applied topically if you have eczema. I don't have any use for it, so chances are I'll just have to throw it out.

Just as good as burts bees!

I've used burt bee's for years, but I moved to New Zealand and the climate is much dryer so my lip balm doesn't work as well and it also doesn't help that I have eczema. So I tried this lip balm because I thought "why not?" and it's been awesome. It moisturizes my lips, and I put it on during the day and at night and it helps so my lipstick doesn't dry up if I'm using matte lipstick. I intend to get some more.

Not good for Eczema

Shea butter has always been my go to with my eczema, and I was really excited to try this lotion because it's cheap and the company has amazing ethics. However it didn't work the best and didn't keep in moisture. The scent wasn't unpleasant, but it wasn't nice either. I also started to get a rash whenever I used this item, so I'm unsure if I got a bad batch, or it just doesn't agree with my skin. So I have more than half the bottle, however I'd have to throw it out it also caused some issues to my partner's hands (and he doesn't have sensitive skin). If you have sensitive skin and have eczema, I'd skip this product and stick to just pure shea butter instead.

Good!

I don't really see a difference from using my old tablets which is fine for me since I didn't need it to be increased. Does the job, me and my partner haven't had any issues and it is a bang for your buck especially compared to the ones at the grocery store.

Works well.

Works like any other tea tree oil but for a better price. I put a few drops in a spray bottle for my toner so and it works well for me, and much cheaper.
