As good as it gets

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 25, 2013 | Verified Purchase

This is the second natural deodorant I've tried. I had an allergic reaction to the first one, while this one doesn't irritate my skin at all. In general, I don't find natural ones as effective as non-natural ones, but this one does its job as best as to be expected. It isn't sticky going on, I like that it's scent-less, and it keeps me fresh all day. (Not sure how it'll work if you're a sweaty type). I've gone running with this and it holds up okay. Never tried a marathon though! However I've noticed it doesn't quite work as well on really really hot, sticky days but it's still acceptable.

USP verified - but with fillers

Posted by iHerb Customer on May 15, 2014 | Verified Purchase

This vitamin has everything I was looking for in a women's multi, although it would have been better if there was a higher dose of B vitamins. I like very much that it's USP verified, so I know I'm getting exactly what the label promises. In an industry that's unregulated, very few brands carry the USP label. What I really don't like is the fillers that go into these vitamins. I wish it was purer, then it would really be the perfect vitamin. But until I find an alternative that's similarly verified, this will have to do.

Happy hands

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 25, 2013 | Verified Purchase

This is one of the least drying hand soaps I've ever tried, which is one very good reason to keep buying this, especially since I wash my hands a lot. It still foams nicely despite being so mild. I don't like heavily-scented products so I'm not really in favour of the scent, which I found rather overpowering.

Why does this get soft so quickly...

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jan 08, 2017 | Verified Purchase

I found this much too bland and the rice bits got soft really quickly when milk was added. Rather tasteless, soggy cereal is not really my idea of a satisfactory breakfast. I sprinkled them on top of yogurt, which was a better way to eat them as they didn't go soft so fast.

Coconut scent is off

Posted by iHerb Customer on Feb 07, 2015 | Verified Purchase

I love coconut flavours when it comes to soap, so I've tried a bunch. This has got to be by far the worst smelling coconut body wash I've tried. The scent is very artificial. It also doesn't lather as smoothly as other Jason Natural body washes.

Crispy seaweed with a kick

Posted by iHerb Customer on Oct 03, 2015 | Verified Purchase

If you like spicy food, you'll love this flavour. The combination of crisp seaweed and heat is delicious. In fact, I find the original flavour too plain after I've tried this one.

Practical and earth-friendly

Handy because they snap together so you'll never lose one, good on the conscience because they're made of recycled plastic. Plus they're really cute.

A good substitute for soy sauce only when cooking

Posted by iHerb Customer on May 11, 2014 | Verified Purchase

I'm trying to reduce soy in my diet, and I find this is a useful alternative for soy sauce in cooking. If you grew up on soy sauce, you'll know anything else will never taste quite the same (with the exception of tamari sauce). But coconut aminos is a decent substitute, because it does a good job of adding taste and flavour to food. On that count, it stands on its own as a seasoning for dishes. Just don't use it as a dipping sauce. When it's straight out of the bottle, it tastes kind of oddly sweet. Then you can really tell it's never going to be soy sauce!

Not drying on hands!

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jan 13, 2014 | Verified Purchase

I wash my hands a lot, and Mrs Meyers is still the only hand soap that doesn't dry out my hands. The consistency of the liquid is more watery than average, so maybe that's why, though it creates a decent lather. I'll keep buying this brand because the average hand soap dries out my skin. This size is more economical than buying individual bottles. My only grouse is the scent of Mrs Meyer's hand soaps tend to be rather strong, but some people in my family love fragrance, so that's really a matter of preference.

Good product but...

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jan 08, 2017 | Verified Purchase

I tried this as an alternative to the other unscented Tom's of Maine deodorant, because that one reacts with my body chemistry (or something) and there's an odd smell just a couple of minutes after application. Unfortunately I have the same problem with this one. Otherwise it's a good product - not overly sticky when applied, controls what it's supposed to control (but not wetness, as it's not an anti-perspirant after all) and doesn't stain clothing. It's a pity.
