I'd never had buckwheat in my life, so when I found it in iHerb's catalogue at so convenient a price, I decided to get it. Buckwheat does not have a very strong flavour or anything, but that makes it ideal to have it as a savoury side--with sauteed mushrooms and caramelized onions is delicious--or as a hot cereal in the morning. If you're looking for a more nutritious alternative to oats, look no more--have buckwheat. Ok, it is more expensive than oats, but it's worth it.
This tiny raisins are ideal for baking--scones, cookies, Welsh cakes, cakes, poundcakes, everything you can think of may benefit from this tasty little dudes. Sweet, with a hint of tart, they pair incredibly well with a lot of flavours, and they are soft enough to eat by the handful. Delicious!
Coconut oil is known for its many health and beauty benefits. It moisturizes the skin and may help relieving scalp itch. Unlike other vegetable oils used for beauty purposes, coconut oil is absorbed very well by the scalp and skin and does not leave a greasy sensation. That said, this is a wonderful product with a very nice smell. I use it for my hair and scalp and it is a wonderful treatment for preventing split ends--preventing, not repairing--and for itchy, dry scalp.
I bought this sunscreen since I needed a sunscreen with a high SPF that was not too expensive. This is a nice smelling sunscreen that does not leave the skin with this typical white film that some sunscreens, especially those with higher SPF, tend to leave. Its consistency is creamy, and it makes it easy for spreading on the skin, unlike other sunscreens that are difficult to spread and are kind of rubbery or, simply, kind of stiff. Also, the smell of this product is very nice; it does not "scream" out of your clothes, as some others do, but the smell is kind of citrusy, fresh and not very intrusive; definitely, it does not make you think of the beachside, which, for an everyday sunscreen, is a great thing; who wants to think of summer vacation when in the city in mid-winter? I don't. The only problem I have with this product is that very creamy consistency. During the hottest months, which, where I live may be most of the year, if I am wearing a too thick skin product, more than likely I will start to get very small bumps on my skin. The thing is this: this product, while its consistency is very nice, it is not absorbed that well and it leaves the skin feeling a little bit greasy; this is why I get those bumps on my skin. All in all, I would recommend this product but for this little issue, which is why I am not buying it again.
This product did not work too well for me. Despite the hype on natural products and "industrial", more chemical deodorants being maligned to no end, this product did not work well for me. The first two days, it all went well, though I needed to reapply halfway through the day; the third day, it stopped working. I'll keep using it only while the bottle lasts, but I am not buying it again.
