NATURAL ANTI-DEPRESSANT? GREAT STUFF HERE. RECOMMENDED.

Posted by iHerb Customer on Dec 20, 2013 | Verified Purchase

I take 2-3 caps once a day, sometimes twice, with a meal. This stuff is great. How can you tell if it works? You will feel serene (calm and unbeatable) for a good couple of hours ~6 after that. Depressing things won't feel so bad. If you don't feel the effect, then try adjusting/upping the dose or try other brands to see which ones works for you. So far i have tried Now & Madre Labs brands but this has, by far, the most profound effect on me yet. Bonus would be no fishy burp and good ratio of DHA/EPA & value for money for its quality. And if you are interested, try adding Uridine to the mix (google Mr Happy Stack); you will be initiated :-D

A GOOD DOSAGE TO START.

CoQ10 (ubiquinone) increases ATP thus the energy boost. Good total daily dose range from 100-200mg (depending on how well you respond to dosage), taken with food, preferably fats, to increase absorption. For non responder, you may look into ubiquinol (its more bio-available but also more expensive and reactive form) or a more stable form / time release ones (BioQ10 SA / MicroActive CoQ10). Apparently this is good to supplement with if you are taking statin drugs. But still, be careful if you are taking other blood pressure, sugar & cholesterol medication as there might be interactions/side effects so be sure to cross check before making a decision.

GOOD STUFF FOR THE LADIES.

My mum, 56 years old, always complains of aching feet whenever we go for outings and lasting days after that too. And she had problems sitting feets tucked in too. Now,cycling the vitamins 5 days on and 2 days off,she said not only are the achings gone and she being able to sit tucked in, but everything from her eyesight to energy level are improved. So this stuff definitely works.

GOOD STUFF FOR MYSELF AS WELL :-)

I've started to use this recently on a 5 days on and 2 days off cycle. And while i have been eating healthy and generally feeling better to great, this stuff is pretty solid on days when i supplement. Feels like i could go on all day. And i'd only use half a serving - 1 pill a day. Also i realised the times i would feel a slight dip in energy are on the off days when i don't take these supplement.

IT WORKS.

Elimination becomes regular immediately after starting course. However i think maintaining a proper diet after the course should be the the way to go as this pill just helps you to restore the gut flora.

A GOOD DOSAGE TO START. BRAND IS A LITTLE PRICEY THOUGH.

My mum started taking statins and was complaining of sluggishness. Had her supplement with this 2x per day and shes back to normal.

SEEMS OK. DOES IT WORK BUT NOT GREAT.

This seems alright but i think i have got heartburn when i take it. The one i tried from Health Origins seems to work better without any side effects (of course that one has 30 Billion Microbes & more pricier). Overall not recommended to take long-term; just to jump-start gut flora and then carry it on with a healthier diet.

SEEMS OK? MORE BEAST POWER REQUIRED.

I take this once or twice a day with no noticeable effect. It could be that i am a non-responder? or my levels are already saturated to begin with as i do consume a plenty of eggs and chicken & red meat. What can i say, i'm a beast :-)

SEEMS OK.

Bought calcium supposedly for increased weight loss during working out (or cutting) phase (read in a few fitness books & also on Martin Berkhan's Leangains) Feel like it is effective, can't really tell. Always look for more bio-available form (easier absorbed by the body) eg citrate and possibly with Vit D3 (not D2) and try to take with meals (it requires a more acidic environment to breakdown). Adding Magnesium to the stack at a different time would helpful too. Careful if you are taking calcium blocker for high blood pressure as there might be interactions. Also it might make your thyroid sluggish.
