The powder is a bit lighter than my face, but seems to have a decent matte effect as it says in the description. The applicator is a bit useless in my opinion, but since I use a brush it didn't bother me much. It's quite a small pan, ideal to carry in your purse for touch-ups. Can get quite "caky" if you apply too much and hence the 4 star rating.
I've noticed an average reduction in the pore size around my nose area and also a redness reduction, so the general purpose of the primer seems to be fulfilled. As for the consistency, seems a bit thin but in the end it settles within the pores. The only concern I had was because of how oily it seems to be (for my skin type): my T-zone is quite oily, so since the product seems to be quite oily as well, I had to retouch with powder at the beginning of the afternoon. Just keep that in mind if you have oily or combination skin and your pores happen to be in an oily area of your face.
Just keep in mind it's a bit shimmery (and maybe I failed to read the description but I could swear it wasn't there). The color is quite pigmented, but I'm not a big fan of shimmer blushes. Maybe for a night out or something, though.
This cute little blush pump bottle needs only a tiny bit and you're set. I personally don't use intense pink blush, so I just use it - before - I put on my base. With most bases, if you apply one coat, the blush should show through. If you're ok at blending and aren't afraid of intensity, then I guess it could be used on top of a base. Overall nice texture, color and will last forever, so I gave it 5 stars.
Loved this brush. It's dense and large enough to use as a powder brush, but also narrow enough if you rotate it 90º for contouring. I also use it for blending my contour and blushes together and it works perfectly. Not sure how long it will last, because I haven't waited months to write this review, but it looks pretty decent quality for the price.
I was quite sceptical about this pencil, but was pleasantly surprised to find out its texture was just perfect for me. Creamy, but not too much where you lose control of the area you're defining. The lid with a sharpener comes just handy and the highlighter, which was not the reason why I bought this in the first place, was just on point (a slight smudge on your brow bone and you're ready to go as far as brow grooming goes).
I have very much enjoyed this product as its right up my alley: it's not too intense and love the matte color. I like a slight blush, preferably natural looking and with a slight tint of orange, so this worked as intended. Only hiccup was because the pan popped out of the case as I opened it the first time, but I ordered internationally so I guess the "over the ocean" trip was a bit much to handle (the other blush I ordered came in just fine, so I guess bad luck on this one - nothing a bit of glue won't fix.)
I liked how creamy this product is and loved the color. It's a natural looking shade with a hint of pink. The "pen" format is easy to use on the go for retouching. Doesn't last if you decide to eat, but then again few lipsticks do.
I've only been using this brush for a few weeks so I don't know about its quality in terms of longevity. But as far as use goes, it revealed to be quite precise if you use it not only for blush like it says on the label, but also for contouring. Blend it with a larger brush in the end, though, because some lines might be harsh due its small size.
The shadows are gorgeous, especially the middle shade for daytime and the last shade for nighttime. I've figured you need to use them with a semi wet brush (or the sponge applicator - dry) because of the possible fallout but really, worth the effort. Or just use a tissue if you rather not wet your brushes. Lasts all day on me. The primer was a bit too thick for my dry lids and the pencil a bit too hard. The explanation on the side isn't too hard to follow if you're new to makeup. But I usually just mix and match those colors as I see fit.
