About Me

Hello. As far as nutrition goes, I prefer herbs to plain vitamins- trying to eat god. fresh fruit and veg seems to be the best strategy. My mainstays are an ENORMOUS fruitshake in the morning plus a flask of fresh ginger and hawthorne tea during the day. Aside from that, I just keep away from sugar. Its always good to try new things though. Currently, my 'thing' is red ginseng- gives me lots of energy and also tastes quite nice!! ----- Read the above? All change now. My main aim is to cut out the sugar these days so my enormous fruit shake has been replaced with a huge blended salad! It was a challenge to get it right but I'm now happily adding iHerbs and iSpices to my daily mush. (Did you know that just salt & pepper brings the flavour of any salad out beautifully?- Super simple!)

Definitely works for me.

I'm quite amazed by this. I just don't dwell on any kind of negative issue anymore. I used to get down a little and stay there for a few hours- nothing more than a reality check I thought. Well, whatever it was, it isn't there now. Highly recomended.

Coals to Newcastle

Well, they do exactly what they said they would but it's a lot of dough for 40 caps. It also grates because we have to order these from America when we live in flippin' Sweden.

It's that smell again...

You can't argue with the benefits of tea tree oil. As far as antiseptics go, it's always been a winner for me. So I thought I'd try it in a moisturiser on my 3 year old, who needs antiseptic rubbing into her small clusters of pimples and bumps she sometimes gets from kindergarten. Yep, no problem, the spots are vanishing as they should but the smell.... well I quite like it- (puts the 'stink' in 'distinktive') but it's got some way to go before it comptetes with the wife's more subtle fragrances... Still, I love it!

Slippery Elm works

I've been really trying to work on my stomach for many years using ACV and sodium bicarb to reduce my acid. Slippery Elm seems to be the icing on the cake. I've been using it for over two weeks now and my stomach feels better than ever- verging on fantastic. Will undoubtedly reorder
