Some people seem to need this form of folate, but for me they seem to cause problems after a week to ten days of taking them. Basically I just get a toxic flu like feeling. Too many methyl donor's seem problematic for some of us. If you need this form, they are very good, but if you don't have the mthfr polymorphism (can't convert folic acid), then these just provide too much methyl.

I took these for about two weeks and gave up. Got terrible diarrhea and was just plain sick. I decided to just buy all ingredients separately. This gives me total control over what I'm taking and I get a three month supply for about the same as cost as a one month supply of these.

Best form of Magnesium

Magnesium glycinate seems to be the best form to take for absorption and doesn't cause loose stools.
