They're so large, that when I swallow them, it's like ingesting a huge amount of vitamin filler... but I know that it's probably a necessary amount/size (can't access the product info, because I'm afraid I'll lose the rest of my above input as before). I'm grateful for this product and am now researching calcium aspartate anhydrous.
I prefer Now Foods Vcaps, but I still wish I could discover a similar iron supplement with only 8 mg. As it is, I unscrew the capsule, take one-half one day, and the other half the next day, taking a break on the third day. Eight milligrams per day is all I need, and it's really easy to overdose on iron once past menopause, not to mention the havoc iron can wreak on certain other systems, such as arteries.
I couldn't believe the difference between this cranberry supplement and others which use soy and are in softgel form. Of course, it could have been all the watermelon I had had the previous night, but I don't think so and besides, one should drink plenty of water when taking supplements, anyway. I noticed a difference.
