We have tried several different chlorellas: none have the intense colour and taste like this one. It simply tastes healthy, not like the gray insipid other brands. We have ordered this twice. Help detox. It also has lots of protein and minerals. I wondered whether it is still safe to take as it comes from Japan: Jarrow informed me that their supply was from before the earthquake also they keep up by testing it. Millie from Canuckland

I have discovered Zyflamend after using NSAIDs for arthritis. With me, it did seem to work 50% to 75% as well, but after some months stopped working. I now have to add Serrapeptase and Boswellia. Perhaps Zyflamend stopped working because Procter & Gamble (Tide, Crest, Pampers) now owns the company and are changing the purity and quality of the ingredients or the involved manufacturing process as they did with the other products they bought out???We tried these because they are all natural. It is a little like buying Chinese bone china instead of Wedgewood. Both are made from the same ingredients, but the Wedgewood is heated for 36 hours at 2700F for about 39 hours, while the Chinese "equivalent" is heated at 600F for only 3 1/2 hours. This saves the manufacturer big money, but the cups chip easily. Wonder what ends up "chipping" in my body. Is it a "Gamble"? After Zyf became #1 best seller, they jacked up the price by seven dollars. Millie from Cunuckenville

Now Foods omega 3 oils are average, but they are inexpensive. What I don't like is that they often have that fishy rancid taste to them which I don't get from the more concentrated fish oils, which are more expensive. Another thing that concerns me about Now Foods is their lack of detailed info on their labels. For instance their Vitamin K: There are over 4 kinds of vitamin K-4. Menaquinone 4, 7,8 and 11. Only the Menaquinone 7 is of true value for humans. The others are inexpensive or synthetic forms of no true value. Now Foods has a large number of vitamin supplements that avoid telling us exactly what we are getting. And I am getting more suspicious of this company for this evasive strategy.

Iherb doesn't sell Egyptian Magic cream anymore and announced Madre Magic as its worthy replacement. I needed something for eczema as I don't want to use damaging cortisone salves all the time. Result: This cream does very little if anything to heal, let alone, relieve the burning and itching of eczema. But neither did Egyptian Magic. What does help a little are natural creams like Mill Creek Botanicals Grapefruit lotion $5.99 16oz., J. Burlington & Sons Botanicals Ginseng/Papaya hand lotion, and even Vicks vaporub.

After trying all the cheapest enzymes from Now, Source Naturals, etc, we decided to go up in price and try these from Natural Factors because we love their biofloavenoids. Unfortunately none of us are noticing anything WHATSOEVER from these. I spent the last nights waking up with all the food undigested in my stomach. What a disappointment from such a reputable company, especially since we love their bioflavenoids. Perhaps they should up the potency a little or do more quality control?

I wanted to order this again, but now the the bottle contains magnesium oxide! My almost empty bottle only states magnesium glycinate. Was the old description wrong or did they change the formula? Our doctor ordered us to take Magnesium ONLY in the chelated form - not the oxide form. She said magnesium glyconate is a good absorbable and most important, a cheap form. For some people it might react with their antidepressants to lower their mood, but in others it might even make them less depressed. Seems to be a very subjective thing.

I was getting pretty tired lately, sluggish. Even tea wasn't helping, other than for that quick rush. I bought 3 bottles of these hoping for results: NOTHING yet. Perhaps it takes more than one bottle to kick in. Perhaps this batch was all leached out, or didn't get enough fertilizer. It is not even as strong as a good cup of tea. And I am still easily worn out by the end of the day. Is there anything else I can try, I'm already taking Q10 50mg. Ow well, it's back to tea. Millie from Cunuckenville

Our local hospital analysed a selection of probiotics selected from local stores. Amazingly 2 of them had absolutely no living probiotics in them and ALL of the rest of them had extremely small %'s of probiotics: instead of 16Billion, only 70 million! None of the companies had anywhere near the advertised potency. So it seems that we were lucky that this ones little living cells did not die.....

After studying what we need for making bones stronger, I decided to buy Dr Best because it had almost everything needed (Silica would make it even better) and is cheap! We alternate between this and the Alive Brand of bone maker. The Alive is made from plants - totally vegetarian, but is a little more expensive for a 30 day supply: $25.19. But then Alive gives you 1000mg of calcium per day vs Dr Bests 600mg Bovine calcium per day. If you calculate by the amount of calcium, Dr Best is cheaper by about one dollar per month.

It is so easy to pop a pill rather than eat a spoonful of chlorella powder. Chlorella powder is so dusty it will choke me and has to be mixed with salad, sauce, juice, etc. So I looked for pills. Most of the pills available are disappointingly pale and poor in taste when compared to the rich dark-green Yaeyama chlorella powder - and this Healthy Origins pill is no exception: it is pale and bland in taste when chewed. But it is cheaper than other pills and is not so tiny, so that I don't have to pop so many of them to get the recommended 5 grams per day. Result: I buy both the powder and these pills to get the valuable minerals in Chlorella that are recommended by Dr Mercola and Oz.
