Queenslander with the charisma of a chocolate covered gorilla in a banana suit advocating anti-banana cannibalism whilst eating a banana. I've been chronically ill since 2004 and have used iHerb over the last few years to help me deal with a constellation of symptoms. Other purchases are to maintain a generally health lifestyle - as healthy as I can be. With great products at the best prices with awesome postage rates, I'd be a fool to go elsewhere.
I've used a number of NAC supplements and although I can't tell if they're working or not, it's important to keep the liver as functional as possible. As I can't tell the difference between these different brands, I've chosen Doctor's Best because it's the cheapest when comparing the price paid, the quality of the product compared to others, and the quantity you get for the price. It also seems safely manufactured with no GMO or gluten.
This is perhaps the superstar of iHerb for me and it keeps bringing me back. It has a fantastic selection of nutrients including methylated B12 and folic acid which is a very good selection if you have difficulties detoxing (methylation issues, MTHFR gene mutation). Most of the ingredients are excellent and shows some thinking outside the box. Can this product be improved? If the manufacturer wanted to WOW us, I'd love to seed this product with 12mg astaxanthin and more magnesium (and if they had to remove something, reduce Vitamin C, remove manganese. Life Extension have two types of this tablet. These have a heavy nutrition profile, so make sure you look at the other one of the same name. I prefer these. If you are considering the other tablets because these are too heavy, keep in mind you can easily snap these into two thereby saving 50% :) Best product I've bought on iHerb and a number of people have asked about them. It's my iHerb anchor!
As with many supplements including this, I take them for the benefits of my body. Due to my illnesses, it's difficult to say if many products work. NAC is touted as being very good for the liver, and as we're all exposed to toxins in our diet and drinking water each day, as well as other afflictions that come along, I think it's a good idea to have more NAC in the diet for an extremely important organ. The price is cheap, too, and one per day with a hundred tablets - that's great value from a trusted brand.
Very good list of ingredients.
It took me some time to decide on this product. The root is the better nutritional option which this contains, and it's 100mg stronger than the cheapest alternative I could find. On a per-capsule basis, this seems like the best value and lasts 4 months which is awesome :)
This product states each tablet contains 12-13 drops of NutriBiotic GSE Liquid Concentrate which is amazing for how small they are. The price is out of this world with 100 tablets - they last a while.

Amongst my ailments is Pyrrole which is where the body hemorrhages zinc, so I space out supplements during the day. I decided to try a heavier doses recently to determine whether it makes a difference. For me, it doesn't. The positives are: (1) Cheap, as I take numerous supplements on a budget; (2) Extra 10% free as at the time of purchase; (3) small and easy to swallow - many zinc tablets I've taken are chalky and you get that "stuck in the throat" feeling. Negatives: (1) the addition of calcium; (2) numerous unwanted additives. I had limited choice when I bought these due to financial constraints. They do the job but I'd think twice next time solely because of the unwanted additives.
NAC's good for the liver and I've tried numerous brands. They seem to all be the same.
This is one of the best products I've bought from iHerb. It tastes great and makes a super awesome marinade for proteins. I absolutely love this stuff mixed in with honey and garlic, used with chicken, steak, even a wide variety of white fish. Highly recommended.
Haven't bought this for a while as there are other supplements out there that are cheaper although I still like the ingredients in this product. Replacing the folic acid with methylfolate would've been more beneficial for me, but that's a personal choice. This used to be a favourite product.
