I am a former sugar addict... Now, however, I only eat gluten, diary and refined sugar free foods, experimenting my way through 100's of products which was hard work and very expensive. Now, I found iHerb and it just makes everything SO much easier and more affordable to live a healthy life! Even better, with iHerb rewards, by shopping here I can get credits to buy more stuff - what could be better!!! DO YOU WANT TO EARN YOUR OWN REWARDS? High quality chia seeds. These are nice and fresh and chia seeds are a healthy supplement to my diet. I don't eat near as much fish as I should, so a spoonful in my breakfast, over a salad and in a smoothie takes care of that (apparently 3½ tablespoons of chia seeds contain as much omega-3s as a 32-ounce piece of salmon!).
These chia seeds are great. This pack is mainly black seeds and about 5-10% white seeds. White seeds are rarer but apparently black are just a bit better health wise. I don't really mind what color they as they are super healthy either way. I sprinkle them out of the bag on salads for crunch or mix with water (any liquid is good) and voila you have increased the seeds by 10 times their size to a nice gel which can be used for just about everything as the seeds just have a pleasant mild nutty taste.
I recently discovered onion powder and what awesomeness! Pizza crusts and breads will never taste the same again.. I use fresh onion in much of my cooking, but never for baking (that texture just doesn't seem right). Now, I found that using onion and garlic powder in any savory baking makes it taste much more exciting. Goodbye bland!
This cacao powder is very full on! Before this I used to by a run off the mill cheap powder from our local supermarket which tastes very different. Kinda like comparing cheap milk and sugar loaded chocolate with high % dark quality chocolate. I certainly wouldn't have it without anything sweet, it is very bitter indeed. I mix it with dextrose (glucose) for hot cocoa, little chocolates and chocolaty cakes as I don't eat refined sugar.
What can I say, they taste like almonds :) Well, really nice ones at that. We have been getting roasted and salted almonds from the supermarket self-serve for several years as this is our go-to snack. 2 things that set these apart: They are nice and hydrated (the ones we normally get are very dry and 'dusty' in your throat which we just got used to) and salted just right for my taste although some may want more salt than that + cheaper than our supermarket. Just got another 4 bags on order. Yum!

I had been using a another product which needed refrigeration but had 25 billion organism rather than 5 for this product. To be honest, I can't tell the difference in how I feel, but I will keep both products as I often get out the door forgetting to take a capsule. Therefore it's great to be able to have some of these in my handbag! (they are in handy sheets so you can just pop one out when needed. Oh, yes, and heaps cheaper than many other brands.
I am new to using Stevia in any form or shape, so maybe I just need to learn to use it. I have now tried it in 3 recipes - one time I put 20 drops in a 4 inch mini cake and it was horribly bitter still and I couldn't eat it. I must say the size and drop function is VERY handy - perhaps this may yet grow on me, if so, I will be back to change my review.
