It's difficult having a product ingredient allergy in the States. Thank goodness for iHerb. I read ingredient lists religiously. Any "methosulfate" nonsense and the whole product gets disregarded. Also, I am thrilled to see iHerb stock Korean skincare products - many that I already use and love!

This shampoo does the job, but my hair was dry and my scalp itched. I think it was the hydrolyzed wheat protein in it. In my experience, hair products with hydrolyzed wheat protein tend to dry out the scalp to create that "volumized" look. Also not great as a body wash as lady parts don't like the overdrying. It is, however, better than a good majority of the more natural shampoos out there. But I found Little Twig shampoo and conditioner to be much better, making my hair baby soft with minimal drying.
I love the lavender scent of this hand soap. It even lingers for a little while after you dry your hands. The consistency is like regular commercial hand soap and it cleans very well. Your hands may get a bit dry after washing, but just use hand lotion.
It's a nice soap, does the job and smells nice. But if you're looking for jasmine scent, it's not really there. I was kind of disappointed since I love jasmine scented things. It cleans off the oils, so don't be surprised if your skin feels dry-ish. Just use body lotion and you'll be fine. And as it is a natural soap, don't expect the scent to linger. Soap scents last until you wash it off (and maybe a few minutes afterwards). If you want a scent, use lotion or perfume.
A bottle of any A La Maison de Provence hand soap always lasts a long time for me (as it's usually only 1-2 people who use it in my house since I'm the one that is allergic to the sulfates in most commercial hand soaps). The Fig & Basil scent is one of my favorites and has garnered the interest of some of my friends who visited and used it. The basil is very prevalent in the scent, but it's sharp edges are sweetened over by the light fruity fig. Highly recommended.

My hair type: natural, non-treated, straight-wavy, thick Asian hair w/ combination oily/dry scalp & tangling ends. This shampoo cleans very well...maybe TOO well. I used this and no conditioner I tried could moisturize the dried out roots and scalp after using this shampoo. Same goes for the Acure Organics Argan Shampoo, though slightly less drying, still too drying for my scalp and roots. I didn't have a problem with the packaging/bottle as one other reviewer said they did (it broke on them due to constant contact with water), but that's probably because I keep my toiletries in a shower caddy in my bedroom out of the wet when not in use. Though the squeeze tube makes it a little difficult to handle in the shower, it's not completely unmanageable.
Not sure what Twinnings was doing when they made this tea, but it doesn't taste ANYTHING like Oolong tea! It's disgusting and ranks even LOWER than the low-grade Chinese restaurants mix-leaf teas! If you want an acceptable bagged Oolong tea, try the Yamamoto brand.

Hair Type: straight/wavy, oily-dry scalp combination, non-treated, mid-back length, Asian hair. Since Hugo Naturals changed their formula (adding quinoa protein), I've been looking for another shampoo that doeasn't over-dry my scalp. I've finally settled on Little Twig's shampoo. It leaves my hair super baby-fur soft without over-drying my scalp. I pair it with Little Twig's detangling conditioner (calming lavender) to get it that baby-fur soft. My only issue is the bottle design. When you get down to the bottom of the bottle (the last 1/3 of the bottle), most times, the pump can't and won't pick up the shampoo. So I have to unscrew the bottle and pour it out on my hand - very inconvenient. Also, I wish this shampoo came in bigger volumes! 8.5 fl oz runs out so fast! Especially with my long hair.

Hair Type: straight/wavy, oily-dry scalp combination, non-treated, mid-back length, Asian hair. Since Aubrey Organics changed ALL their conditioner formulas in 2015 (and then proceeded to basically shut down their company for a year or so because MAJOR fail *eyeroll*), I've been looking for a good detangling conditioner that moisturizes my itchy dry scalp and detangles & smooths my hair. While this still doesn't top the Aubrey Organics Green Tea Finishing Rinse from before their product "makeover," it works better than Kiss My Face Big Body Conditioner Lavender & Camomile (KMF made my hair brittle and easily snap-able with just a fingernail despite the softness and detangling). With Little Twig detangling conditioner, my scalp isn't completely moisturized and I still get frizzy flyaways. I think they were going for "volume" - which my hair does have now because of the lightness of this conditioner. And while I would prefer more moisture to volume, Little Twig tops them all by making my hair baby-fur soft and completely detangled! My only real issue is the bottle design. When you get down to the bottom of the bottle (the last 1/3 of the bottle), most times, the pump can't and won't pick up the conditioner. So I have to unscrew the bottle and pour it out on my hand - very inconvenient. Also, I wish this conditioner came in bigger volumes! 8.5 fl oz runs out so fast! Especially with my long hair.
This is a HUGE bar of soap and the scent is DEFINITELY crisp apple (like someone just sliced into an apple). It cleans well and leaves the skin dry, but using lotion afterwards remedies this. It took me FOREVER to finish just ONE bar of this soap. haha.
I fell in love with this one despite it not have a "white tea" scent. It smells like roses! Definitely one of my favorites out of all the A La Maison de Provence hand soaps. It will dry out your skin after a wash, so just use hand lotion afterwards. But it cleans very well.
