Hi, I am a freelance journalist, predominantly producing health features and treatment reviews and an author of four books, three of the self-help genre and one, Toxic Beauty, discussing the hazardous toxic chemicals used in everyday cosmetic and personal care products. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and have found various useful products on Iherb. I honestly don't know where I'd be without Iherb since the product prices are so reasonable and enable me to purchase supplements I wouldn't have access to in the UK. I purchase most of my natural beauty products and snacks from Iherb as they seem to offer some good organic protein snacks that aren't ludicrously high in sugar and some great organic skincare lines. I I hope my Iherb reviews give you some insight into my thoughts about the products Iherb carry.
I should never buy these again as I will probably eat the whole pack!
Generally love Artisana anyway, but this is a high quality coconut oil, tastes great, it's in glass packaging rather than toxic plastic packaging and is great for your skin, cooking with, eating off the spoon!
I use this in smoothies, home made chai lattes to make it frothier, cereal, anything you can think of really and it's said to help break down fats among other things. It's great that it's non-GMO, which is hard to find these days.
I am a huge fan of tulsi tea and it has lots of antioxidant properties and imbues a feeling of calm so I will continue to buy.
This goes on easy, blends well and doesn't cause any skin irritation for me so I will be sticking with this brand for the foreseeable future.
Mineral fusion offer good color blends and this is free from parabens, which is always a bonus. I will buy other products from them.
Much prefer this to the peppermint one as does not sting the lips and has a great scent. It's also inexpensive.
Does the job, I only need half a packet per drink and it's fairly natural. I wish there were more stevia products just containing stevia though rather than other fillers such as inulin and maltodextrin, still it's preferable for me to have this product with the inulin rather than the maltodextrin and I will continue to purchase :)
I found when I was taking this it gave me extra energy in the mornings and unlike some of the other green products didn't make me gassy or bloated. It's expensive but I think there is definitely some benefit to taking it.
Due to CFS and fibromyalgia I have permanent irritable bladder syndrome but I have found that this does ease the problem as it's said to carry the bacteria out of the urinary tract. I think it needs to be taken consistently with long-term issues, but definitely helpful and would buy again.
