Is this product still aluminium free? Any mention of it has been removed from the product description!!!

BEWARE ! The product description no longer mentions "aluminium free". I find this suspicious... Otherwise, a great product!

Tablets too huge for me and can we remove some bad ingredients from them please?

Posted by emanuela on Apr 28, 2017 | Verified Purchase

I cannot seem to swallow these whole. I have to chew them, which I think defeats the purpose (no wonder I am running to the bathroom as soon as I get up in the morning). Also, what are all these eccipients? I expected more from Doctor's Best! (though to be fair all the magnesium tablets seem bad in that respect)

OK but in plastic container?

Posted by emanuela on Apr 28, 2017 | Verified Purchase

I am concerned about buying fats in plastic containers due to possible BPA, BPS etc leaching into the product itself. So, while the coconut seemed good, I have now switched to items in a jar. Hope this helps.

Great and much cheaper than the capsules

Posted by emanuela on Apr 28, 2017 | Verified Purchase

Been using for a while in my hot chocolate. It gives a bit of a kick and it supports my adrenals at the same time. So much cheaper than capsules and great for my pick-me-up chocolate.... Currently discontinued. PLEASE : If you like this product, please email iherb asking them to stock it again! Let's get it back! They have told me they do listen to customer requests.

Great when you feel a cold coming on

Posted by emanuela on Mar 18, 2017 | Verified Purchase

I pour the drops in a cup, then some boiling water on top and wait a few minutes (this way the alcohol is supposed to have evaporated, and you won't taste it). Drink warm. I feel it always boosts my immune system when I am feeling a cold coming on. 4 stars because it is supposed to be just 23 servings. I have been using it for months though...

Does not seem as good as other digestive enzymes. Will not purchase again

Posted by emanuela on Jul 07, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I purchased this when it was on offer (20% off). I find when I use this instead of my usual digestive enzymes, I am more likely to get digestive issues. So I won't repurchase. Sorry Michael's, I like your products generally... I guess this one lacks some enzyme I need.

Not sure... expensive on iherb

Posted by emanuela on Jun 12, 2016 | Verified Purchase

Not sure if this works for weight loss - I have hope for lipid management, though I will no longer buy from iherb, as their prices are too high for some products (such as this). Cheaper to buy from Europe

I wish American health removed the stearic acid from these...

Could be better

I like the idea of coenzymate B complex but this seems to contain folic acid, not a good folate form.

Contains sodium selenite

Posted by emanuela on Apr 02, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I like the dosage and the fact it contains vitamin E but... it also contains the form of selenium called "sodium selenite". Dr Mercola writes "According to the 1986 edition of the Handbook of the Toxicology of Metals, daily intake of about one milligram of selenium as selenite can be toxic. In one study, sodium selenite was found to induce substantial DNA damage in human fibroblasts." (google Mercola sodium selenite to read the whole article). I am not sure if Life Extension is aware of this, or if they think 50mcg is low enough not to pose a risk or if they believe the two other forms will "make up" for the selenite somehow, but I am no longer buying this item. Why risk adding the selenite form at all? I will enquire further but using a different form at the moment.
