My favorite, and I've tried a ton of soaps

Posted by feistyveganconsumer on Jun 23, 2008 | Verified Purchase

I love this soap. I've bought nine kinds of the One with Nature, and this was by far my favorite so far. I ran out last night, and although I've got four other kinds still to try, the Rose Petal soap is the real deal. Smells great but not overpowering lasts a long time (about a month, and I really lather myself up!), and has little pieces of rose in it, from what I can see in the bar and on my washrag. It also is moisturizing. I'm online to buy more, because out of all the soaps I've tried, including other brands, this is the best. And a great price.

An excellent product but keep in mind...

Beets make your liver happy. Love your liver, keep your gallbladder. I have just ordered my second jar of this powder as I was very happy with the first jar. My ONLY warning is to beware taking this with a strong B-Complex vitamin. I'd taken a very potent B-Complex vitamin capsule about 30 minutes before I took my first dose of this and flushed, well, beet red! I knew it was a niacin flush, but wow, it took my skin about 45 minutes to get back to normal. My whole body turned way red. There must have been a reaction between the powder and the niacin in the B-Complex. After that, I took them at LEAST an hour apart, and no problems.

Didn't know this had been sourced from China

Posted by feistyveganconsumer on Dec 23, 2013 | Verified Purchase

I won't be buying this brand again. Even though it is bagged up in the USA it mentions something on the back of the bag about being sourced from China and the USA. Anything that comes from China is not worth trusting. They say that they check every batch for quality but my quality standards say China's standards are way, way below mine.

Works well, even better with extra neem added

Posted by feistyveganconsumer on May 16, 2014 | Verified Purchase

I had eczema which calmed down using NeemAura neem oil, but on my arm I still had these weird-looking bumps which itched--eczema bumps that mutated. Putting NeemAura neem on them straight didn't do anything to kill them off. Mixing extra neem into this cream and applying it made the bumps dry up. A good cream--even better with extra neem added to it. The NeemAura brand is a very good one.

A complete waste of money

Two things: Shea Butter is YELLOW. This shea butter is completely white, so it's been processed. So much for pure and natural, as it says on the jar. Also, NO seal on this jar. You can just open it up. I like to know my products are fresh and sealed. How much does it cost to put a small clear band on the lid? I guess they think they spent enough processing all the good stuff out of this "shea butter." I'm using this on my feet only. I've done better with other Cococare products but you won't find me ordering this product again.

This one's a winner

Posted by feistyveganconsumer on Jan 20, 2014 | Verified Purchase

I got this in my order two days ago and wore it the day I got it and yesterday as well. I have light skin and dark hair, so this is a great match for my skin. I like the taste, too. Someone said it reminds them of bubblegum--only very faintly as I cannot stand the faux bubblegum tastes in products I used to use. This product doesn't bleed and looks like a burnt sienna crayon in the tube but goes on more of a deep orange. This is my first Crazy Rumors lip color, and you can bet it won't be the last. Great price on this and it will be fun to layer over more subtle shades I have.

Love this stuff. Great product, great price.

Spirulina is a cheap way to get lots of health benefits for your money. It jacks up my immune system, keeps me from being constipated, and I just feel better when I take it, period. A good brand, too, and I've tried several.

Quieted my angry gallbladder nicely

Posted by feistyveganconsumer on May 27, 2014 | Verified Purchase

I got a little too cute with my Memorial Day eating and woke up yesterday with the dreaded gallbladder headache. So, I took the cellophane off the jar and mixed it into water, gave it a good shake, and drank. Today I woke up with my gallbladder is as quiet as the proverbial churchmouse. I put more of this powder in my vegan smoothie, along with beet and broccoli powders by Eclectic Institute. As far as the taste goes, well, it tastes good enough. I am not looking for it to taste yummy--I am looking for it to keep my liver happy. If my liver is happy, so is my gallbladder, and so am I. Glad I ordered an extra jar as this will be a mainstay of my morning smoothies.

Love? No. More like Meh

I bought this on the power of the five star reviews. After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Ripped open my order when I picked it up to get to this and put it on. The color bleeds too much for me and also is gone too quickly. I found that the only way I could salvage this is by layering it with a Burt's Bees lip balm that had a similar color. As far as the color goes--you never really know what you're getting until you see it--I found it to have some purple undertones which wasn't bad as I wasn't looking for a super deep red. I won't be trying other lip colors in this brand again.

Broccoli for cancer prevention

Posted by feistyveganconsumer on May 23, 2014 | Verified Purchase

Broccoli has been shown to help kill off cancer stem cells as it contains sulforaphane. It's been shown to help new tumors from growing. It can protect women from breast cancer and men from prostate cancer. If that isn't enough to make you want to eat broccoli, what is? An easy way for me to get my broccoli (which is also good for your gallbladder) is to put this into my morning vegan protein smoothies. This powder also contains milk thistle, which is also great for detoxing the liver. If eating broccoli stalks gives you too much gas, or if you just want a convenient way of guarding your health, this powder is a great way to do it.
