I love Iherb and everything organic and healthy! Originally from Russia, I worked in China for 5 years, currently live in SC, USA. I found out about Iherb a few years ago and even had to ship a few orders to China (which was a stressful experience), thats how much I like it! No problem with shipping within the States though, yay!
I have a fair skin and always looking for products that would give my skin some color. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and can say now that it's not the best self-tanner I used, but for this price it can't be better! So, first time I applied it the color appeared in 4 or more hours and it was very nice and natural looking. Then I decided to put it on the back of my palms as there was no lotion there and palms always tend to look whiter as you wash them all the time. I put a generous amount of lotion as I would with hand lotion and woke up with beautiful but yellow colored and patchy palms, haha. Lesson learned. It did evened out in a few days but those few days I was hiding my hands in my pockets (: What I do now is use with a light hand after a shower and I see the color appear in a few hours. It does smell, well, most self tanners do. The smell is not that strong. The smell clings to the bed sheets though so you might want to do that night before your laundry day. Color stays on your skin quite a long time, I would say 4-7 days before you really need to reapply, but it depends on the result you're aiming for and your natural skin color. If you're not careful with application it might get patchy on your palms and feet, just be careful. I didn't have any patchiness problems anywhere else though, so it's good. Overall, if you're looking for affordable easy to use self-tanner, give it a try. It comes in a big bottle and you do not need much for each application. Great value and great product, will re-peurchase once I run out or find a better deal (though I don't think its possible)
My fiancé always ask me to buy this shampoo for his beard as sometimes he gets itchy skin on his face but can't really exfoliate it due to hair growth. This's our 2nd or 3d bottle of this shampoo and it works. I tried it too as my scalp gets itchy sometimes and liked the feeling during and after shampooing - it tingles a little bit when you apply it on your scalp. I don't mind the smell anymore, it smells like sulfur but if you have a sensitive nose maybe this shampoo is not for you. I do too, but I got used to the smell of this shampoo and it doesn't bother me anymore. My fiancé actually likes the smell. It's rather sick, and you need only a little bit of it, so a bottle lasts a long time. In short, we both like it and use it occasionally when we get itchy/flaky scalp or skin, it soothes the skin and you feel relieved after the first application. I introduced it to my parents who occasionally have this problem and they both liked it too. I leave this shampoo on my hair for a few minutes while I'm in the shower, then rinse and apply conditioner and maybe even a hair mask as this shampoo leaves your hair kind of dry. I do not use it everyday though, so it's fine. Hope it helps! ^.^
If you like rooibos as much as I do, please get this tea. It was my first or second rooibos and I'm still in love wit it. The smell is just divine and it tastes oh so good. Vanilla smell is not strong at all but I guess it adds a nice touch to overall aroma. This tea is just so mild you want to drink it all day long. Great value and quality tea. The tea box is quite big and you get 24 bags, not your normal 20 or even 16 (looking at you, Yogi!) I'm a fan.
It's a very nice tea, but at this price you can find a much cheaper one with the same or better quality. It would be perfect for a gift or stocking stuffer for a tea loving person, but I would not re-purchase for myself. There're too many teas out there to try and this one just did not leave that "OMG, I need to stock up on this heaven sent tea now!" impression. Very nice tea, nevertheless, and if you're feeling like having a fancy tea party with your friends or family it would be a nice tea to serve then. You can re-use tea tin too, it smells amazing! They have some exotic flavors that I would be interested to try but it's definitely not my go to tea for everyday. It does not mean it can't be yours, if you never tried any of Harney & Sons tea I believe this is a safe tea to start with.
I used to buy goji berries in China where they're sold everywhere and are very affordable. That's the only goji berries I have seen in the States so far and I was eager to try. They taste and look the same as the ones I bought in China (is it a good thing? I don't know, I guess I was expecting something special). It's not as cheap though (6 times more expensive to be precise) and until I find the better deal I will keep ordering this ones. I like to add them to my oatmeal, cereal, muesli, anything to be honest! They are good in tea, too. And just a healthy snack in general, I can just munch on a few of them as I like the taste.
Okay, it might look gross to you when you first use it (dark green seaweed smelly something), but just give it a try. I'm on my second tube and will buy again when run out. I use it every few days, sometimes even every day in the shower, when pores are open and gently rub it on my face and neck and chest too, because why not (: It's not too harsh to be used everyday, and if you wear makeup like I do, it really helps to clean the skin. I would use cleansing balm/oil to dissolve makeup, then wash it off and use this scrub to do the final cleaning, paying attention to T-zone as I have combination/oily skin. I did not notice any brightening effect but I haven't even try even one product that would give that effect, maybe it will work on dry/normal skin differently. It's a nice scrub for it's price and it will last a long time a the tube is quite big. It does not irritate my skin and it's mild enough to use it everyday yet strong enough to exfoliate skin and get rid of makeup particles. That's the only product from Acure Organics that I will re-purchase and I tried quite a few.
It's my first E.L.F. product and I was excited to try. Well, for $3 it's a great product it's quite pigmented (looking at you, bronzer part!). You really have to use light hand with the bronzer to avoid muddy face look (happened to me first time I used it) When used lightly I think it's quite beautiful and would work better for medium skin tones, not for paler ladies. Blush is okay, my only complain about this product is glitter. Why would anybody put glitter to the bronzer is beyond me. Glitter is quite big and noticeable, I end up trying to brush it off after each application. Cant' complain though, considering the price (: Wouldn't recommend for a beginner, as this product is not exact user friendly. I absolutely love the case and big mirror though! Great for packing for weekend trip/vacation as you get to pack 2 products in 1 and a big mirror (:
I didn't know what to do with this butter, it was just sitting on my night stand and looking all sad because I couldn't find a good use for it! It smells really good, if you're into sweet smells and chocolate and I think I used it to condition my lips and feet before I went to bed a few times but it was so hard to get as it's solid and I didn't want to bother with melting I just stopped using it. In the end, I gave it to my coworker who was pregnant so she could use it to prevent stretch marks. No complaints from her followed, so I guess it might have worked for her (: Not a bad product at all, but not for me.
