I have a coeliac disease so a gluten free diet is of a vital importance to me. I buy most of gluten free flours from iHerb, since in our country (EU market) selection of GF products is not that wide - in last years has improved a lot but we are not there yet;) And GF sorghum flour is one of the products that have not yet reached our shelves, so I am really glad I discovered it on iHerb. I must say that from all GF flours I’ve tried, sorghum flour is the one that (taste wise) the most resembles wheat. I use it in my home baked GF bread (I mix it with other GF flours, but usually sorghum flour represents 50%) and it is great for thickening sauces. I heartily recommend it to all of coeliacs out there! :)
I bought a really lovely silk blouse on eBay and it (disappointingly) arrived with stains of unknown origin. Since the blouse is a vibrant cobalt blue I was a little worried that Ecover might discolour it, especially since is stated on the bottle that is not recommended for use on silk. Eventually I took a risk anyway and luckily it was the one that paid off; Ecover removed all the stains, it didn’t cause any damage to delicate silk and no discolouration occurred – a little miracle in the bottle! :)
Aloe Cadabra is without fragrance, non sticky and it doesn’t dry as fast as Durex one that I was using before. It is also free of most chemicals/irritants that are often found in more commercial lubricants (parabens, glycerine, propylene glycol, etc) however it does contain sodium benzoate. I have overlooked that fact when ordering it & after reading about it I am a little hesitant in continued use (if not familiar with it, google “sodium benzoate dangers”).

I have a Celiac Disease and I use xanthan gum together with guar gum as a binder in my home baked gluten free bread – gums, when combined, they work the best. I always add a little of ground flaxseed as well because they really give that elasticity and chewiness to the bread; those of you celiacs who don’t tolerate gums or are simply wishing to avoid them, try to use ground flaxseed only or for even better results use ground flaxseed in combination with some apple fiber powder or psyllium husk to replace the gluten in your GF bread.
I would describe the taste as mix of nutty, veggie/grassy and earthy and my initial big mistake was to try and mix it with sweet things – it literally made me gag. I know that some of the reviewers find it delicious that way but it was a no-go for me. Now I am mixing it into cold cream veggie soup and I am actually enjoying it!

This really is a treat for all of us coconut lovers. It smells divine, is naturally sweet and full of flavour. When refrigerated it turns solid and when used as spread it has to be brought above room temperature otherwise it will crumble (to around 85°F/30°C as stated on the jar) – simply set the jar in pan of warm water (keep temperature below 110 °F/43°C ) and mix it well afterwards. It can be used in many ways but because I somehow can’t really trust myself around it (when left out in the open:)) I usually rather keep it refrigerated; when I desire a quick snack or a sweet treat I just scrape off a spoonful and let it melt in my mouth or mix it in hot cocoa sweetened with stevia.

I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO. I have a greasy, sensitive scalp usually accompanied by dandruff and itchiness (I know, a match made in heaven:)). After trying a zillion dandruff shampoos (those with zinc pyritheone and selenium sulfide) with not much success (they usually irritated my scalp even more while their effect on dandruff diminished with regular use) I came to a conclusion that a mild shampoo is what my scalp needs and TheraNeem Organix, Scalp Therape Shampoo is the best I have tried so far. Despite the fact that it contains no SLS, only mild cleansing agents, it does a superb job cleaning my greasy scalp & hair while not additionally irritating it but actually successfully offering much needed relief. For once there is no tightening feeling and no itching on my scalp after washing my hair. It also foams up surprisingly well and will last you quite some time. However since is thinner in consistency than most shampoos (supposedly to better penetrate the scalp) you have to be extra careful when applying it; squeeze it directly on your scalp or into your palm rather than on your fingers.
I have ordered this for my boyfriend who is currently in a process of finishing up his Ph.D. and has quite a hectic schedule. He said that since starting taking Vinpocetine he feels he is being more effective and his concentration level has improved.
B-Fresh is another 100 % xylitol sweetened gum that I have purchased on iHerb. What differs it from the others xylitol sweetened gums available on the market is the fact that is patented GMO free and that it does not contain soy (most of the others contain lecithin which is usually soy derived). It also has an added value in form of added calcium and vitamin B12. B-Fresh like most of the other xylitol sweetened gums hardens and lose its flavour after a few bites only. However that does not really bother me, since I am not a big gum person (I do not stand to have a gum in my mouth for a long time, it makes me hungry and nervous) and I only chew xylitol sweetened gums because of xylitol anti-cavity properties immediately after meals in between brushing and flossing during the day.

This powder has really impressive, pure ingredients. Although pressed powders are less messy in this case I decided to go with a loose version because a pressed one contains kaolin which can be drying for a skin. I have a combination skin and this one does not dry out my cheeks at all. I find a Light-Medium perfect match for my skin; for reference, when I was still using MAC cosmetics a NC 20 was my colour match. I use it as a finishing powder over my foundation or on the days I don’t wear foundation I just buff it over my purely mineral sunscreen (currently I use Desert Essence, Age Reversal Mineral Sunscreen) to eliminate stickiness. In both cases it evens out a skin tone, gives skin kind of a smooth appearance and is great at controlling shine.
