Good stuff but too small

Posted by jayzou on Nov 05, 2010 | Verified Purchase

It's an acquired taste but overall I am satisfied. I just wish that the jar was a little bigger for the price you have to pay.

Good. Very good.

However I still prefer their hazelnut bars above everything else.

Pretty Rocks for Health

Use it for brine. If there's really a difference between this and the supposed #1 brand of crystal salts, I honestly can't tell the difference besides the huge price gap.

High Quality NORI

Posted by jayzou on Jan 10, 2010 | Verified Purchase

As a seaweed aficionado for years, I have tried various types of nori and I can tell you that this is quality stuff. I just wish they sold these in larger quantities rather than just 10 sheets per pack. Another con I had was that they don't come toasted and ready for use, you have to toast them yourself.

Dental Tape is better than floss for me.

Posted by jayzou on Oct 12, 2011 | Verified Purchase

I choose these over floss because of the thickness, but they also last twice as less than their counterpart floss. So pick wisely Angie.

I personally like Lerosett's moisture matte better.

Bought as a gift...

It's too rich for my blood, though...meaning it is very costly for such a small amount. However, if you have the money and need to super-boost your health, this will most likely do the trick.

Better than soy sauce IMHO

Posted by jayzou on Jan 10, 2010 | Verified Purchase

I am trying a gluten-free diet and so I found tamari sauce to be a good sub for soy sauce. Maybe I've grown too accustomed to regular soy sauce, because I found tamari to have a better taste and aroma. I will use tamari from now on.

Good rice that comes locally for me

Posted by jayzou on Jun 05, 2011 | Verified Purchase

I try to avoid grains in general because every time I eat a large amount in one sitting, my left foot tightens up. I believe this is due to a diabetic issue, but over the years I've managed to deal with it through exercise and diet. When I'm in the mood for a bit of rice, I'll eat these without having to worry too much about blood sugar increase, as I drink tea and take cinnamon supps along with my food.
