I did not even realize I had purchased this until I saw it in my past order history. So I went digging into my "garbage" drawer, the seemingly endless pit of products purchased and then quickly discarded after producing less than satisfactory results. And there it was, partially used. If you a few fine lines, dryness and darkness under your eyes then do not buy this product if you expect it to provide any relief! All it did was sit on top of skin, did not sink in and left behind a residue. It was demoted to neck cream until I foolishly bought another Derma E eye product and ended up with the same 1 star results. Its safe to say I have now learned my lesson.
I was excited to give this a try after all the rave reviews but after several attempts I found that this mask was causing me to breakout. And the breakouts weren't just whiteheads, which could be related to cleansing of the skin and "bringing out the bad" but instead I got big cystic pimples, that were painful. I think this was too harsh for my skin and would not recommend this to anyone who has acne prone or sensitive skin, it's too harsh.
I feel like I am using a high end body product when I use this, love the smell, consistency and aftermath. Also love the price. Only down side is the packaging, it's practical ...but not pretty! I guess that's how I get sucked in by those big corporations! Trust me you are better off with this product, I would recommend and repurchase.
I was forced to buy the kit in order to get the highly raved deluxe crease brush. After all the tutorials I've seen going on about how great it was for applying under eye concealer, I went for it. Outcome, I don't like the brush. It's too dense, big and fluffy. Instead I enjoy the brush to it's right, the name escapes me. The other brushes I don't care for, I only use them because they're there. If you're buying the kit for the deluxe crease brush then I would recommend not buying the kit, get the brush separately. If you're buying the kit to introduce yourself to the Real Techniques line, then skip this kit go for the face brush kit instead. In the end, I would recommend the brand but I would not repurchase this kit.
Never having heard of this brand before I somehow found this product in my cart and the in my hands a short time later. At first I wasn't sure how to work it into my strict regime, I have a few trusted products which I've struggled to keep due to sensitive, oily, dehydrated, acne prone skin. So I started using it in the mornings which enjoyable because fresh, minty smell woke me up and then later I found it great as a make up remover when used after a face wipe or cleansing water. It left my skin clean and fresh without the "squeaky" clean feeling which leaves me dry and tight. I will repurchase after I go through some trial and error with afew other items that found their way into my cart!
Another eye cream that did not meet my expectations. I do not have heavy wrinkles but my eye area does feel tight and show dry patches if not moisturized sufficiently. I found this cream to be very thin, with a milky consistency... and that's it. I felt like I was putting on invisible cream, I did not see any benefits. In it's favour though it did not sting or irritate my eyes as I have this misfortunate occur in the past. This has now been demoted to my day/night neck cream until I can finally trash it.
No complaints, I have very happy with the quality (and quantity) I received for the price I paid. I would recommend and repurchase.
A great introduction to the brand and if you wear face make up, I believe it should be mandatory that you own the kit! I have been using the buffing brush and contour brush almost everyday, for the past 6 months. I wash them weekly and feel that they're in the same condition as when I first got them. I used to use my fingers to apply foundation but now I cannot go without the buffing brush, it makes the application so easy, so smooth. Just avoid thick layers, that leads to visible brush strokes. I would repurchase this kit and recommend to a friend, every time!
I found the sea salt crystals to be quite large, which I normally look for as I enjoy intense exfloiating but for some reason this consistency did not win my favour. The smell was pleasant and the jar was easy enough to work with, I usually have mishaps of lids slipping, product slippage, etc etc. But I would not recommend or repurchase, just didn't do it for me.
Still need more time, but I currently would not recommend
I was hesitant to purchase due to my sensitive, extremely oily/dehydrated skin. I am very prone to breakouts especially to new products and products that clog my pores so I wasn't sure if I should purchase this. But then after reading the great reviews I went for it. The first product I tried was the cleanser, which removed my make up well, but was very "watery" so too much product came out of the tube. The cleanser broke me out after the first use. So that has been now demoted to my make up brush cleaner, I am not willing to try it again. Since I live on the wild side, apparently, I went to for the face mask next and I must say after the initial one time use I was content with the aftermath so basically it didn't break me out. I will try it again and hope for same results. I will have to remember to come and comment on the other products, but based on the 2 I have used I will use the mask until it's done but not repurchase. As for the cleanser, let's just say I have a long time of "make up brush cleaners" aka cleansers that didn't work.
