I first heard about iHerb last year, when someone in my running club promoted this website, (using his promotion code, of course). I am an American living in South Korea, so it is very hard for me to find vitamins and supplements here. I was looking for some prenatal vitamins, so I ordered some from iHerb. I was surprised at how quickly the order came, and how well packaged the products were. The price was also very reasonable compared to other companies, (especially the shipping costs). I have been hooked ever since! I believe that many health problems are linked to nutritional deficiencies. I have read many books on this topic, so most of the supplements I purchase are based on careful research. In a perfect world we would be able to obtain most of the nutrients and minerals we need from our food, but industrial agricultural methods have made this very difficult. For this reason I think supplementation is a necessary evil. If you find my reviews helpful, please rate them.
Most vitamin E supplements only contain alpha tocopherol. Foods contain the whole vitamin E "complex", so to receive the maximum benefits, it is important to get a supplement that includes beta, delta, and gamma tocppherol, (and this product contains all of them). Fun fact; researchers call vitamin E tocopherol, which means "to beget or carry offspring" in Greek,(info from "Real Food for Mother and Baby" - Nina Planck).
I was glad to find this product on iHerb, I can't find this spice here in South Korea. I also love that it is organic.

I bought this product because it is supposed to naturally balance hormone levels in the body. I suspect I have mild adrenal fatigue, (most of us do), and I was hoping this product would help me with that. I didn't notice any change in my skin tone imbalance, (which is an indicator of adrenal fatigue). I had to stop using it because I was trying to get pregnant, so maybe I just didn't give it enough time.
I am happy with the product. No complaints.
I didn't like the taste of this product. It just wasn't what I expected.
I love this salmon. It's hard for me to find salmon that is not farm raised in South Korea, so I was happy to see that iHerb carries this product. Wild Planet also practices "sustainable fishing", which is important to me.(Side note: I did notice that the label on the can does not currently say the packaging is BPA free. I looked this up on their website, and apparently it was recently removed. There is a letter posted by the president of the company that explains why they cannot make a BPA free claim at this time because of low levels detected in the fish, but not the can. He says they are working on this issue.)
This product assists in fat digestion.
This is the type of protein powder recommended in "The Four Hour Body", by Tim Ferris. There is NO SUGAR in it. The price on iHerb is also really good. I ordered it from another company once, (before I found iHerb), and it was almost double the cost, (with shipping).
The quality of this product is good, but I had a hard time taking it. (It was a challenge when I was struggling with morning sickness). The gel filled caps are easier to take. I found myself making my own gel caps with this product, then I just switched brands.
Great product, I used it to make some raw "breakfast bites" in my dehydrator. I listened to a podcast about the owner once, and he seems like a respectable, down-to-earth business owner. I like buying from a company where I can put a face to the name, not a big corporation. (I don't mind paying a little bit more for a quality product).
