I first heard about iHerb last year, when someone in my running club promoted this website, (using his promotion code, of course). I am an American living in South Korea, so it is very hard for me to find vitamins and supplements here. I was looking for some prenatal vitamins, so I ordered some from iHerb. I was surprised at how quickly the order came, and how well packaged the products were. The price was also very reasonable compared to other companies, (especially the shipping costs). I have been hooked ever since! I believe that many health problems are linked to nutritional deficiencies. I have read many books on this topic, so most of the supplements I purchase are based on careful research. In a perfect world we would be able to obtain most of the nutrients and minerals we need from our food, but industrial agricultural methods have made this very difficult. For this reason I think supplementation is a necessary evil. If you find my reviews helpful, please rate them.
Maple syrup is so expensive here in South Korea. (For $20.00 you can get a very small bottle). I was so happy to find an "organic" alternative on iHerb.
I love having an alternative to the typical soy sauce made from GMO soy beans. It also tastes great.
I bought this product to prevent stretch marks. It might really work, but it is difficult to handle, so I wasn't using it every day. The product I am currently using organic coconut oil, and it is so much easier to work with.
I bought this product because it is hard to find real cilantro here in South Korea, and I wanted to do a heavy metal cleanse. I am not sure why there is chlorella included, since the chlorella is supposed to be taken 30 minutes after the cilantro. Next time I will buy a product that only has cilantro.
Not really sure about the rave reviews about the effects of this on skin. I read that it is supposed to even out skin tone, and it didn't really seem to work. It is good as a moisturizer.
Most of us are deficient in magnesium. I read about magnesium citrate in "The Magnesium Miracle", by Dr. Carolyn Dean. Magnesium oil is more easily absorbed by the body, but this product is not as messy.
I bought this product because it was fairly inexpensive, and I didn't know how long it would take for me to get pregnant. If I could go back and do it again, I would have bought the more expensive brand. This one does not have enough magnesium in it.
I bought this product to ensure I got enough calcium while I was supplementing with magnesium. It dissolves well, no complaints.
This is great on salads. I am sad to see it has been discontinued. :(
I used this to make some delicious chocolate covered marzipan. My only negative comment is the amount of product is less than I expected.
