I discovered iHerb while living in Korea, and it has been the perfect way to supplement my lifestyle and keep myself in the best possible health in a new environment. I avoid gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy, and I was looking for ways to get more protein and greens into my daily diet in this rice-heavy country - enter iHerb, and problem solved!
After reading about the benefits of hemp oil on acne-prone skin, I had to try it for myself. I'm less than a week in, and I'm already a a total believer. Added to my regimen of honey and cinnamon masks, apple cider vinegar as toner, and tea trea oil, this is a perfect natural moisturizer. Drying out acne works to a point, but doing so excessively creates its own problems...moisturizers that clog pores are obviously no good either...oil (and the right kind of oil!!) is the way to go.
So pure, so raw, so good. It's delicious, but I recently discovered another way to use this honey that has me in love. I mix it with cinnamon and freshly ground nutmeg and put it on my acne-prone skin as a mask, rinsing it off after half an hour (the nutmeg acts as an exfoliant) - great results even in the short time I've been using it. Internally or externally, raw honey is awesome.
Fighting the humidity, I've been wearing my hair in an updo every summer day, and with a light spritz of this over the top, I'm very happy with both the shine and the hold. And I especially love that it doesn't make me feel sticky (especially if I accidentally get some on my face) like a conventional hairspray would!
I'm happy with anything that pre-mixes different flours and gums for me because that's definitely something I'm too lazy to do. This has been great for baking!
Using this in all my gluten-free vegan baking lately, and very happy with the end results! Great way to add variety to the usual suspects.
Great substition for a portion of the flour in gluten-free baking.
Like heaven in butter form. Seriously.
This stuff rocks!
I don't have a dryer in my apartment, and as much as I like being environmentally friendly and air-drying things, I was having issues with finding a good fabric softener (and it certainly doesn't help that I don't understand enough Korean to be able to sort through layers of advertising to get to the truth). This combined detergent and fabric softener has done the trick for me - my clothes are clean and soft, every time.
I love dark chocolate and almonds, but adding the sea salt into the recipe made this an even better treat. Great flavor combination!
