Cat food:))

This I buy not for me, but for my tuna-loving cats:) Great tuna, but without all the salt other canned tuna usually contains.

Dangerously, addictive, small, sweet pieces of cacao beans:)) Good as a snack, in trail mixes, fruit salad, in homemade chocolate and other sweets and treats. Also awesome on top of creamy coconut butter!! <3

Big bag of "sukrin"

Posted by lipslife on May 14, 2014 | Verified Purchase

Good sugar substitute. It doesn't affect bloodsugar, and it is excreeted through the kidneys/urine, so it doesn't have the same laxative effect as other sugar alcohols can have. It has kind of a "cold" taste, so I usually use it in combination with stevia and/or honey or sucanat. I actually use it a lot to reduse the amount of sugar I eat. Don't want to let go of my sweet tooth;) It is a very good sweetener for homemade ice cream, since it has already got a cold taste! :) Love the big bag, and it's a lot cheaper than in Norway!

Good sugar substitute

It's the same as Sukrin (in Norway). Together with stevia, this is the best way to sweeten your food, without adding any carbs or calories:) I use it for cooking, baking, making ice cream, chocolate and other sweets and treats. I always combine it with stevia, because if you use too much it has a cold afrertaste. I can survive without sugar;) Love it!

Chocolate <3

Good raw chocolate powder. Use it in smoothies, coffee and for making chocolate or other healthier sweets and treats. Only thing is, I'm unsure wether it is best to eat cacao raw or roasted (because of the antinutrients it contains)....so I make sure to eat both types ;)

Okay pasta substitute

The noodles pretty much taste nothing, but texture wise it feels like pasta, and it soaks up the flavour of the sauce, so it works. No carbs or gluten:)

The best xylitol

Posted by lipslife on Apr 14, 2012 | Verified Purchase

OK sweetener, tastes a lot like sugar. It is known as bjørkesøt in Norway. Doesn't affect blodsugar, but I'm not sure about how healthy it is... I sometimes use it mixed with erythrithol (sukrin), for a more sugarlike taste. I prefer to use stevia or a mix of stevia and erythritol. I would buy this xylitol over other brands, because it is actually derived from birch trees, not corn or whatever else they make it from.
