Look in the London hospitals, Milk Thistle is used in the emergency room to support people's livers who've just returned from hunting mushrooms & ate the poisoned ones. It's a common treatment there that has been used effectively for years to my knowledge.
I learned of Citrulline from Dr. Ignarro's book, "No More Heart Disease" in 2006. Because, the L-Arginine in his recipe may have over stimulated my system, may have caused Shingles, I reduced my personal intake to Citrulline, which is in Stimulin, (& part of the original recipe of the book). I know for a fact that during the Monday-thru-Wednesday period each week when I'm taking Citrulline my sense of smell is highly well developed. So much so, that I can scent a person's cologne or perfume for 30 feet in front of me & when they turn a corner I can tell which way they walked. Plus, it's good for your vascular system. I'm not a Doctor & I've been taking this for my vascular health for 2 years, 3 days a week & I can feel the benefits.
I like all Desert Essence products for their emollience & healthy-quality ingredients. I tried the "Coconut" for a fragrance alternative, but I like the "Vanilla Chai" scent better. I believe this line uses only healthy ingredients; yet, their scents are a bit on the "sweet/heavy" side, so, usually I mix the Vanilla Chai w/another, less powerful scented Vanilla & create a pleasing harmony, to the nose - & to my skin.
Especially if I'm under stress, I take this to help my brain connect with memories & ideas with ease. Plus, now that I'm older, I take 2 gingko's & 2 vitamen e's each night (remember, were're combining here) to thin my blood, to naturally decrease my blood pressure. I am not a doctor or nutritionist, you may substantiate this with further research.
I've been applying Shea Butter Mode de Vie for about 4.5 years. The ingredients are healthy & the shea butter can act as an inflammatory for such things as shingles & insect bites.
