Comprehensive Multivitamin for Women
I did extensive searching before determining that this was the best multi for me: (1) two tablets a day, which is practical. I am not interested in swallowing whatever 6-8 pills have in them for my multivitamin; (2)reasonable levels of the components, such as 200mg of vit. C--it cannot possibly be healthy to take 20 times the RDA of some vitamins;(3) a modest 10mg of iron (55% RDA) since I am post-menopausal; (4) affordable because there's not a lot of extra questionable fluff like royal jelly thrown in. The only negative aspect to the tablets is the smell, though to Jarrow Formula's credit there is no aftertaste or lingering odor once they're swallowed.
Higher Concentrations of Essential EPA/DHA
I have used Fisol for years. This new Super version has a higher concentration of EPA and DHA in the same size pill. The softgels are enteric-coated, meaning the contents are not released in the stomach, but in the intestine, where absorption is better. There is also absolutely no fishy aftertaste or burps.
I had tried other fish oil pills before Fisol, but this one is definitely the best---their special enteric coating ensures no fishy burps, and the essential oils are delivered to the intestines where they are best absorbed. Medical science has found fish oils to provide proven benefits for heart health as well as mental well-being. You will not find me without this, or the new Super Fisol, in my medicine cabinet!
