Think it's helping

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jul 30, 2010 | Verified Purchase

I started to take these because I noticed soreness around my knees after running. It's been a couple of months and the soreness is no longer present. I am also taking Glucosamine and Collagen.

Thanks for your feedback!

Take before workout

Posted by iHerb Customer on Sep 05, 2010 | Verified Purchase

I can feel the difference when I take these about an hour before I run. My muscles do not seem to get as tired. I don't know whether that is psychological or physiological, but it works for. Much neater than creatine powders, too.

Detox and immunity builder

Supposed to help with your ability to create glutathione, and also to eliminate metal toxins. No adverse effects so far...can't tell if it's working. You can't tell unless you see definite symptoms disappear, and I had no symptoms. But I am getting to the age where you have to start premptive strikes.

Liggett's Bar Shampoo makes my hair feel so thick, and it looks shinier than it ever did with conventional OR organic hair products. It's amazing that something so simple can work so well.

Seems to be helping.

I take two of these a day at lunch. I have not noticed any adverse side effects, but I seem to have more energy. My thyroid always tests slightly low when I have bloodwork done, so I thought these would help.

Smells great, works fine, but not totally sweatproof

Posted by iHerb Customer on Mar 30, 2012 | Verified Purchase

I still give this 5 stars because it has a great smell, works as an effective sunblock, and more or less stays on in the heat. No sunscreen is going to stay on perfectly during a hot, sweaty run. But this is still a great product.

The real thing

If all the honey you've ever had came out of the top of a plastic bear head, you are missing the true honey experience. Try this. It is delicious, primitive and incredibly revitalizing. Yes, it is expensive, but this is a rare treat. Really Raw honey is not the refined syrupy pseudo-honey you'd use as an ingredient in baking - this the real thing.

Good soap that does not dry the skin

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 02, 2011 | Verified Purchase

The Dr. Woods Shea Vision soaps do not dry out the skin the way other castile soaps tend to do. The shea leaves a light moisture barrier on the skin. However, it does not leave a greasy feel. The Lavender soap smells beautiful, very relaxing and feminine. Only complaint is that the scent does not last - but that may be due to the naturalness of the product (no chemical fixatives, which is OK by me).

So far so good

I take this with arginine before running and at other times when training. My energy levels seem good, and this has no side effects.

Calming, except....

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jul 29, 2011 | Verified Purchase

This product works. I does induce a nice, mellow natural calmness. Such a pleasant effect. I purchased it in the hopes it would calm me down at work...I teach elementary school :) But after I bought it, I read up on Kava Kava a little, and now I am concerned that it may not be good for my liver to take this too often. Overuse MAY lead to liver toxicity and an increase in HDL cholesterol. This is under debate because some believe it's the aflatoxin molds on the plant that cause the problem (much the same situation as with peanut products). It's still probably safer than drinking alcohol. So I reserve it for those jittery PMS days and for situations fraught with Social Anxiety, such as holidays. Wish I did not worry about the Kava Kava.
