It's not, by any means, a fix for GERD symptoms, but it does lessen them. While some people derride the taste, I actually like it.
Didn't do very well when I just took one (it was a 50/50 shot at whether it would quell the heartburn), but when taken consistently--every other day, as indicated, or even every day--it makes a difference.
Been on Nexium for a while now and my B12 levels were taking a hit. Taking one of these a day has helped keep my energy level up, as well as my mind better attuned.
I've dealt with some neuropathy issues for a while, and while this isn't a cure-all, it certainly makes its presence in the healing and maintenance process known.
For those in latitudes above 30-degrees, this is a must, as it may help in preventing multiple sclerosis and ms-flare ups. In older folks, and people taking PPI's for a long time, this helps improve calcium absorption. While I'm not certain of this particular brand's efficacy over others (hence the 4 stars), the fact that it's D3 (not D2), comes in an olive-oil gelcap (Vitamin D is fat-soluble), and is so concentrated (new standards are beginning to call for 2000 IU's per day of Vitamin D supplementation) make it a winner in my book.
