An ok product - easy to apply with a smooth and light consistency. Soaks into skin nicely. However, I didn't notice any difference after going through a whole bottle. Won't repurchase.

The flavor is much more sophisticated than black pepper. I pretty much use it on everything!

It's moisturizing and pretty much unscented. I have found that it minimizes the white trace when you dampen your lips a little before applying the balm, and then rub it in using a finger/lips. It's not that bad really. I love that it's all natural and chemical-free, which is very important for lip balm as it is more often than not ingested.

These pack a lot of EFAs and protein, which makes them very nutritious snacks. I bought them primarily for when I'm traveling. Bag is resealable so it's perfect. They taste interesting and may take a little getting used to.
Tastes great but too expensive
Get yourself some creamed coconut instead. It's basically the same thing just not as smooth. Tastes the same and a lot cheaper to boot.
Good price, decent dosage, and most importantly vegan!

The suggested cooking method of using 3 1/2 parts water to 1 part grain seems too high, so I reduced the liquid to 2 1/2 parts and it turned out fine. Next time I would use 2 parts only for a firmer bite. Compared to hulled barley, this one cooks up creamier and less chewy. Good for making risotto.
Better than Desert Essence but not quite as good as Dr. Tung. Still pretty decent.
Not for me

This kit is too heavy for my mildly sensitive/acne-prone skin. Cleansing lotion and toner are OK; moisturizer is way too greasy and just sits on the face... not to mention that tacky perfume kind of intrusive fragrance that lingers all day. Mask is viscous and doesn't seem to absorb much. I've noticed my overall complexion has worsened in just 2 days of using them. The sensitive skin set seems much much better.
Watch out if you're sensitive/allergic to soy
I used to use this protein powder regularly to up my protein intake. That was also the time when I would get severe breakouts all over my face, particularly on my jaws. I did a lot of research and tried everything I could - keeping a diet journal recording everything that I ate, taking up elimination diets, stopping certain supplements, buying and switching all kinds of acne products, etc. - to no avail. All this time I was still using this protein powder almost on a daily basis because never did it once occur to me that this could be the culprit. It was through a painfully long and frustrating process that I finally got it figured out. As soon as I stopped using this protein powder, my breakouts also ebbed away. I was dumbfounded at first, then it all became clear when I found out that it actually contained fermented soy (natto). Just wanted to share my experience in case somebody out there is having similar issues!
