No additives

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 14, 2013 | Verified Purchase

Very mild herbal scent. Much less expensive than Whole Foods, or other retail from Iherb. One of the few deodorants without any bad additives. Works great. My first review was great because this product had no preservatives. My recent order in July 2013, however does show that they are now adding two preservatives. This was not listed on the iherb page. Of the two new ingredients, one is safe, the other is not. The Phenoxyethanol MSDS sheet warns not to absorb through the skin, it can cause he shutdown of the central nervous system, and cause contact dermatitis. (the ethylhexylglygcerin is not toxic). So, needless to say, I will no longer be ordering this product.

My first Ghee

Posted by iHerb Customer on Dec 31, 2013 | Verified Purchase

I know how much work it is to make Ghee. It is not clarified butter, they go a step further. I have some in a butter bell on the counter, and have put the rest in the refrigerator in a dark bag (keep in cool dark area). It should last 6 months or more this way. What an incredible butter flavor. Lately, butter has tasted so bland to me, but this has an amazing taste. Two tbls. a day, no more, and it's good for your heart health. I will use this instead of butter from now on.

Excellent tasting immue boosting tea

Posted by iHerb Customer on Sep 23, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I have read about the Ojibwa Indian herbal cure used in the 1930's by a woman doctor for cancer. My thinking is this combination will boost your immune system. I love the taste. I gave a box to a friend, and she loves it. Good tonic.

A lot of rose hips

Posted by iHerb Customer on Apr 05, 2014 | Verified Purchase

this is a big supply. I'm not about to harvest my own rose hips, cut each tiny one open to de-seed it, and then dry them, when I can purchase these at a good price. I plan to simmer some in water, add some sweetening, and this will by my vitamin C rosehip syrup to mix with sparkling water. I also put it in with my loose tea. I read this is the best way to get your Vitamin C.

Vanuatu oil

A nice oil for skin. I wanted to try something from a distant Polynesian Island other than Fiji. It drinks right into your skin.

My only brand of deodorant

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 14, 2013 | Verified Purchase

Love the scent, very mild. No alum, nothing bad in this one. So many of the natural deodorants still have some bad stuff in them, but this one does not. Works very well.

excellent quality

Posted by iHerb Customer on May 27, 2013 | Verified Purchase

I bought two of these straws, for use with my own herbal mixtures of tea. I put my teas in a cup, then sip from the straw. It completely filters the tea, and only needs a quick rinse to clean. Excellent buy, as more primitive ones are the same price at my local co-op. Very high quality stainless steel, made in Argentina. For anyone who grows and harvests their own herbs, or makes their own blends, this is so much easier than trying to make tea bags, or filter with baskets. And the design is the very best of them all.

He loves this shave cream. Also likes it in the tube for travel. The scent is there, but not overpowering.

xylitol from birch bark

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jul 02, 2013 | Verified Purchase

I prefer xylitol from birch bark, the original way they processed it, not from corn as most of it is now for a lesser price. The packaging is smaller than previously and more costly, but since I limit my intake of sugar as we all should, I justify the additional cost as worthy to have it more pure. I just make my own herbal infusion simple syrup with it to blend with soda water. dissolves quickly in water.

Regular buyer of these candles

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 14, 2013 | Verified Purchase

Palm wax is a clean burning wax like beeswax, but much less expensive. The candles are long lasting.
