Happy, healthy cats

I feed our four (older) cats mostly wet food. I mix this cod liver oil into a cup of grain-free kibble for them to share each evening. I think they have healthier skin and fur and fewer hair balls with regular use.
One of our favs... Caution for Diabetics

These are great-tasting mints. The Xylitol is an alcohol sugar which is processed by the liver and causes no increase in insulin levels, an important issue for pre-Type 2 diabetics (Insulin Resistance/Metabolic Syndrome/Syndrome X). There are conflicting studies about whether Sugar alcohols raise blood sugar in some individuals; so diabetics beware and monitor your sugars carefully when using sugar alcohols such as Xylitol, Sorbitol, Mannitol, Maltitol, etc.
Pleasant to use, and effective
I've used this product for over a year now after reading how saline nasal sprays/rinses can help prevent viral colonization which leads to colds and flu. I've used it consistently during some serious exposures with good results. Now Foods Activated Nasal Mist is my favorite because it's pleasant and gentle. The herbs balance out the harshness of the saline. If I forget to use it and get a cold, it helps keep my nasal passages open so I can breathe, especially at night. I always carry one in my purse to use after trips to the store, doctor, etc.
Nice, Rich Product
This combination of CoCoa Butter with Jojoba Oil is very desirable for dry skin or preventative skin care. Because CoCoa Butter has a fairly hard consistency, just scoop a little with a small plastic sample spoon or regular spoon, or scrape a little up with the back side of your thumb nail. Let it melt between your palms and apply as desired. Smells like chocolate. A little goes a long way.
My Husbands Favorite
My husband doesn't fail to remind me when he gets low on this gum. And if our girls find it, that happens sooner than later! With a family history of insulin resistance/Type 2 Diabetes, we appreciate the xylitol, which does not require an insulin release in order to metabolize it.
Natural, Effective, Nourishing Skin Protection
My husband had photodynamic treatment of AK's (Sun-damaged skin cells) which left him ultra-sensitive to light for a few days afterwards. The Dermatology specialist told him to stay indoors and use a chemical-free sunblock which contained zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as the active ingredients, with at least SPF 30. He had to apply it every two hours for the first several days. Of course, ongoing skin protection is ultra-important to protect the new skin cells which will be emerging. He works outdoors. After initially using a commercial product which met their criteria, I researched and found the Soleo Organics Sunscreen. It does not contain titanium dioxide, which some consider unsafe. My husband immediately noticed a difference. After a few weeks of use he said, "It feels good, like it is nourishing and conditioning my skin." I got the large size (5.3 oz) to keep on the counter at home, and this smaller one for his lunch box so he can re-apply it during the day.

I was so happy to find this fragranced oil again. It's a blast from the past for me. I first discovered it in the mid 1970's. The quality is the same now as it was back then. A little goes a long way.
Works great, but having trouble tolerating the fragrance

This product works, and a very little goes a long way! Unfortunately, I can't stand the fragrance while I am applying it. For some reason it just makes me feel ill when I smell it. Once I am dressed it is no problem. Sure wish NOW would hold the fragrance on this one! My husband won't even try it.
