I must confess that what attracted me first to Nellie’s All-Natural Laundry Soda was its vintage packaging. Its retro look fit perfectly in our 1950s house. For such a nifty little can (measuring only 11 cm x 11 cm x 18 cm and fitting nicely into my palm), I found it hard to believe that the package contains 100 loads worth of detergent. I skeptically stuck a post-it note to the can and tick marked each time I did laundry to check whether there were indeed 100 loads worth. I made it to 93 but was nonetheless satisfied. I knew that I could have made it to 100 had I leveled the scoop each time. Opening up a can of Nellie’s, I was greeted with the scent of clean - just plain, honest-to-goodness clean - and I instantly liked it. It’s refreshingly different from the contrived fragrances of other laundry detergents whose scent are too dizzying for me. Nellie’s is made up of exactly five ingredients: Coconut oil based surfactants Sodium carbonate (soda ash) Sodium metasilicate Fatty alcohol ethoxylate Sodium chloride For a regular sized load, Nellie’s recommends just one thumb-sized scoopful (scoop included) of laundry soda. As I poured it into the washing machine, the granules instantly dissolved with the water. There was hardly any froth or soapsuds -- the exact opposite of what we see in laundry commercials where more foam somehow corresponded with a cleaner wash. The water did feel soapy despite the absence of bubbles, but I was curious whether the wash (which included stinky cloth diapers) would come out clean. Result: The laundry I pulled out from the machine smelled clean and smelled of sunshine, if sunshine had a scent. There were no lumps of detergent anywhere and the clothes felt stripped clean of any residue. I remembered what an uncle said about laundry: it’s the water that does most of the cleaning and you need just a little detergent to help water do its job. My husband recently gave me an opportunity to test the power of Nellie’s. He completed an Ironman race in Malaysia and packed all his sweaty sportswear into a plastic bag and kept it fermenting there for about two days as he traveled back home. He warned me not to inhale when I opened up the bag. I reckoned I would need to wash them twice to get them clean. But no, Nellie’s did the job in just one wash. Nellie’s Laundry Soda - small and powerful.

I had high hopes for this product after reading reviews and seeing the photos of peeling feet. I followed the instructions to the letter and yet, after 2 weeks, nothing. I bought a different product months later (Baby Foot) and I think they have essentially the same active ingredients. Baby Foot worked for me, which means that Tony Moly should have worked but it didn't and I fault it in bad instructions. Here's what I did for Baby Foot: 1. Wash and soak feet in warm water for at least 15 minutes before doing treatment. 2. DO NOT use lotion or moisturizers days after treatment (Tony Moly includes a packet of lotion with no instruction on when to use it so I used it the day after treatment). 3. Soak feet in warm water every day after the treatment to loosen skin. This product is not cheap and wished the instructions were more accurate.

I've gone through several night facial creams on iHerb but this is the only cream with overnight difference on making blemishes less visible and my skin look overall clearer. You know how when you live with someone everyday, they don't notice changes normally because they're too subtle. But my husband commented that my skin looked good after using this product. I use very little of the product which goes a long long long way.

I was surprised when I received my package. The box was so small it looked like just a sample. I didn't pay attention when I ordered that this is only 30 ml (so really, just a sample size) and yet it costs $16+ which makes it crazy expensive. Good cream but not sure I'll pay $16 for a sample sized product.

I have absolutely no doubt that this shampoo has some of the most eco-friendly and non-toxic ingredients. However, it smells like acetone, that chemical you use to remove nail polish. One of the simple joys of washing hair is having it smell nice and while this shampoo, I'm sure, cleans fine, my hair doesn't smell nice. The shampoo smells chemical-ish. Quite expensive for the amount of product.

My son had severe eczema in the crook of his arm near his elbow, near his armpits, behind his knees and all over his back. We took him to the dermatologist many times and he was prescribed steroids. The steroids did nothing for his eczema. They got a little better but the eczema kept recurring with a vengeance and the steroids became less effective over time. We were getting increasingly worried. He's 2 years old and cannot help but scratch himself. He would wake up at night crying from the itch. I am so grateful to my neighbor who recommended castor oil. We applied it at night before sleeping. It soothed the itch. Slowly but surely, the castor oil healed his skin and now his skin looks as smooth as a toddler's should be. We didn't even have to finish this bottle of castor oil before his skin healed completely. We are never going to use steroids again.

Took these a week before my period and my period was completely painless. Great value turmeric supplements.

Every time my kids complain of feeling like they're coming down with something, I give them a capsule of this. They haven't missed school since we got this. Highly effective. I take this when I feel I might get exposed to illnesses (ex. if I have to work with a lot of kids).

These cookies are yummy but was disappointed by how small the cookies were and how few they were considering the price. Not good value.

I waited to finish the entire bottle before writing this review. It did not ease any of my allergy symptoms - sneezing fits and congestion. I've read that sometimes homeopathic medicines make the symptoms worse for a short period of time so I continued the treatment hoping the symptoms would ease up. They never did.
