Great soap for those who love natural black soap !
This soap is amazing. I give it five stars for the following reasons: 1) First, the smell - It smells divine, leathers nicely and cleans the skin perfectly without drying it too much. Even my girlfriend which is very sensitive with soaps likes it very much. 2) When other soaps fail to treat your skin issues, Nubian Heritage does not -- Most people try this soap because of skin issues, including skin sensitivity issues. I am very sensitive to most cleansing products; my face becomes a dry, itching mess quite easily. I also still contend with pimples. This soap helps control my acne without turning my face into a dry, red mess. 3) Your skin was soft once and will be again -- This soap has phenomenal moisturizing properties. It feels great on your skin. I don't have to apply baby oil or moisturizing body lotion because this soap does it all. If your hair becomes dry during particular periods of the year, try washing your hair with this bar rather than using hot oils or protein soaks. 4) Ingredients you can pronounce -- I don't want dyes or heavy chemicals in anything I use but especially on my face. This soap has a straightforward ingredient list. This product is vegan in nature with no animal based products and it is not tested on animals. Also, it is a great body soap for all skin types of all ages and ethnicities. I like the extra oils that this bar of soap has added..feels like it will last a long time ....very fine milled, but the only point I'd have is to know exactly what type of oil is used in a particular Nubian Heritage soap. Whether its pal oil or coconut oil exactly.Or, if both are used,I'd like it to be stated.Otherwise,I like very much their soap line. And,this is the great one in particular. Thanks for making such a great product at a reasonable price.I am also now using the Raw Shea Butter lotion made by the same company and I am convinced that I found the perfect combo to great skin.
It works !
I have dozens of this sample and I've only been taking these Biotin supplements for 2 1/2 weeks, but I can already tell a difference. The last year or so, I've noticed that my hair is thinning in the front, and it's gotten worse the last few months as I've started perimenopause. I've also had two nails that are splitting, and I haven't been able to grow them out or do anything to stop the splitting.I bought the Biotin to help with these two problems, and so far it's already making a difference. While it's still too soon to notice any difference in the thickness of my hair, my splitting nails have already grown out to the point where they are no longer splitting. At this rate, I'm very happy with this product since it has had noticeable results. The front of my hair has started filling in, and my hair is much thicker. It sort of snuck up on me, too, how quickly this was working. The other day, I glanced down and was surprised to see that my nail was no longer splitting. I wasn't expecting such quick results, and was pleasantly surprised. Since I have seen results with my nails, eyelashes, and eyebrows, however, I know that this is working already, and I can't wait to see continued results with my hair. Nevertheless, if you're going to use a biotin supplement, consider that biotin cannot be absorbed through the skin. That means you've got to ingest it. Foods rich in biotin include egg yolk, liver and some vegetables. A lot of studies have shown potential benefits from the use of biotin supplements.Metabolism may improve as well as immunity functions. It's no wonder then that biotin can produce visible effect such as stronger and better-looking hair and nails. Since it doesn't cost that much to try using biotin and see whether you and others notice a difference, I'd consider using it without too much worry. I will be re-ordering this when all samples are gone .
Tasty and free of nasty fake sugars !
This gum is old school. It doesn't believe in all those fancy, new fangled sugar alternatives. Ingredients are simple: Xylitol, gum base (contains natural chicle), gum arabic glycerin, natural flavors (lemon, lime), sunflower lecithin, resinous glaze, beeswax, carnauba, beta carotene and chlorophyll. It also doesn't mess around with synthetic color agents (no Red #40 or Yellow #5 lurking in these boxes). Bonus is that it tastes great Lemon-Lime. No it doesn't stay flavorful for an extra, extra, extra long time, but its delicious for long enough to get a nice minty taste in my mouth and satisfy my desire to chew. Also, I love this gum as a digestive aid after eating, to produce enough saliva for digesting protein and carbs, and it works great. I had discovered Glee Gum years ago and enjoyed it, but hadn't thought much about it again until I realized that EVER gum at the corner store or gas station had either aspartame or saccharine in it. Even the tried and true Juicy Fruit has turned to the dark side. Thank you Glee Gum for offering this delicious, all natural alternative to the neuro-toxin laced sticks sold by your competitors. I appreciate it and I will continue to buy your fine product for many years to come. Beside this, however working with fewer artificial ingredients does have a few drawbacks. First, as other reviewers have commented, the flavor does fade quickly. Second, the gum tends to be a bit sticker, which may be an issue for those with sensitive teeth. Would definitely buy this product again. The only improvement I can think of would be in the box design, which has a tendency to open in your bag if you're not careful. As a side note, the graphics on the box are so retro & fun!
Great benefits !
Great product! I have been using this for awhile now and have found it to be very effective. My hair is getting thicker, my muscle is getting strong and hard. The increase in mental function and drive is far better than i had hoped for. Easy to swallow and it contains no soy. I like the forms and dosages used in this product. And I also like that it comes in liquid capsule form - an innovative delivery system. I take 2 softgels per day, one in the morning and one in the evening with a meal. As we know, Vitamin E is an important nutrient factor for the body because if you are deficient in vitamin E your body and your DNA are not as protected from the free radical damage. However, Tocotrienols having the most important components of the Vitamin E family. Alpha tocopherol ( regular vitamin E ) displaces critically important gamma tocopherol in the cells. While alpha tocopherol inhibits free radical production, gamma tocopherol is required to trap and neutralize existing free radicals. Gamma tocopherol is one of the most critically important forms of vitamin E for those seeking optimal health benefits. In fact, studies show the combination of alpha- and gamma-tocopherol supplementation appears to be superior to either supplementation alone on biomarkers of oxidative stress and on inflammatory factors. Most commercial vitamin E supplements contain little, if any, gamma tocopherol. They instead rely on alpha tocopherol as the primary ingredient. However, it is gamma tocopherol ( not the alpha form ) that quenches peroxynitrite, the free radical that plays a major role in the development of age-related decline. Tocotrienols are 40 - 60 times more powerful than the inferior Alpha Tocopherol used in all vitamin E and multi-vitamin formulas. Toco-Sorb is the best and only effective Vit E I have found !
Excellent Omega product !

Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of essential fatty acid nutrients derived from marine or plant sources. If you don't eat fish on a consistent basis, you may be deficient in oils that support healthy skin, hair and joint flexibility. It seems the food we are eating today is not doing the job and we have to take supplements to maintain health, not to mention, "striving for longevity." Truthfully, this supplement has changed my life in a number of ways. I have more energy, my joints feel less stressed while working out and it has now been proven that we need to either consume a lot more salmon or take supplements. All fatty acids hold enormous potential for the body, in that they are converted into other molecules that perform vital roles in regulating, mediating, inducing and countering myriad body functions. It’s not so much that one omega is inheritantly bad and another good; we just need them in the proportions Mother Nature spent so much time — 40,000 years or so! — meticulously fine-tuning. The problem is that adherents to the typical American diet take in stacks of omega-6’s and 9’s, which, if not balanced by 3’s, fiercely fuels the inflammatory fires. And we know this can lead to a litany of health issues. The ratio of omega-6’s to 3’s should be somewhere between 2:1 and 4:1. Instead, most of us are getting somewhere between 10:1 and 30:1. This overview of the differences between omega-3’s, 6’s and 9’s should give you a better idea as to why we hear so much about one fatty acid versus another. Fortunately, there’s a simple solution for evening out the imbalance that, unlike pharmaceutical anti-inflammatories or statin drugs, doesn’t involve risky side effects. It’s possible to quickly and effectively quiet much of the body’s inflammatory response directly by taking EPA and DHA supplements. When balance between the two sides of the inflammatory cascade is restored, inflammation is reduced.
Great combo !
Great product and combo! The main ingredient of this product is saw palmetto, an extract which is said to have several beneficial properties for the prostate. Some of its functions include inhibiting the alteration of testosterone to DHT which is another form of hormone that is considered to be involved in BPH development. Saw palmetto is also believed to have properties which could stimulate the normalization of urinary flow and prevents common urinary and bladder problems from recurring. The other ingredient of this product is Pygeum. A popular prostate supporter in Germany, France and Italy, pygeum's active constituents (phytosterols, pentocyclic terpenes and ferulic esters) were first investigated by scientists for their very strong prostate support functions. Pygeum also supports healthy bladder function for regular and complete urination. I bought this product, because I have suffered from prostatitus on and off for about 4 years. Antibiotics sometimes relieve the symptons and sometimes they dont. Have been taking this product for about 4 weeks now. It has definately improved my urine flow already and reduced some of the pain I have in the prostate area. Whether it will improve my condition long term, I do not know, but am happy with the results so far. You don't want to take this supplement on an empty stomach because it's a fat soluble supplement, so it will not absorb well without a little bit of fat. I recommend taking it with eggs, which contain phospholipids that enhance absorption of fat soluble nutrients. Diet is another factor that can greatly impact prostate health. You'll want to eat as much organic (preferably raw) food as possible. Foods that support prostate health include vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins, cartenoids, and lycopene. Also, limit carbohydrates like sugar, fructose, and grains as much as possible to maintain optimal insulin levels.
300 mg of Resveratrol from 600 mg of extract per pill
This is one of the the best trial that I have found at iHerb. I have a dozens of this trials. So, here is my two cents. Resveratrol is a well known and popular antioxidant that I have been taking for a couple of years now. Along with some other supplements and better living on my part I feel it has been very effective for me; in that I have not been sick in the least for a couple of years now. However the truly effective dose of resveratrol has always been the subject of debate. Some people feel that at least 500 mg a day is minimum, other say a 1000, or even more. It has always been my opinion that taking too much of anything like this only means that most of it will be lost in your next couple of trips to the bathroom. I have taken higher doses of resveratrol in the past, but have since moved down to the dose of 300 mg per capsule. And that is 300 mg of trans resveratrol, (pure resveratrol) per dose. Not all resveratrol products break down their dose into trans resveratrol. Avoid any that don't. Since taking one capsule twice a day now for close to 8 months, I still feel great, and confidant it was a smart move. The bottle suggests 1 capsule a day, but I prefer the 600 mg dose, and I still come out ahead for the price, and in purity. In conclusion, unless you are elderly or are unfortunate enough to have some ailments that tend to break down your immunity and need a more potent dose, I highly recommended this Healthy Origins brand of resveratrol for its effectiveness, purity, and value. Reservartrol always helps me with cold sore breakouts. In fact it's the only thing that helps to stop them in their tracks for many many months. So, this is a great product for the purpose at a reasonable price. I take Resveratrol rather than drinking a several bottles of wine. Either way I highly recommend this Healthy Origins blend of Resveratrol .
Great Shaving Cream
This is my third tube-type shaving cream that I've used and I'm loving it -I can't go back to foam. I recall reading a couple of reviews where they said that the cream clogged their blades -I believe they might've put on too much- all you need is a light/thin coat of this on your face. This shaving cream is pretty thick and really protects your face, giving you a close shave. I suggest you rinse your shaver as you shave, this way it keeps the blades unclogged. There are so many things I like about the Aubrey Organics - its scent, its creamy texture, its ease going on the skin its natural pedigree, its feel on the skin, its moisturizing properties, and mostly the close, comfortable shaves I enjoy when using Aubrey Organics, Creme de la Shave.
Absolutely LOVE it !
Sappo Hill makes fantastic soap. It's very mild and creates a rich, lasting lather. I was sick of using soaps/cleansers that were full of preservatives and sodium laureth sulfate, and I wanted a product with minimal packaging (enough with the plastic, already!). Then I found Sappo Hill, and I've never looked back. Because their soap is so gentle, I use the non-scented variety on my face -- I have sensitive, oily, blemish-prone skin, and this soap cleanses my face without drying. It rinses off effortlessly, leaving my face squeaky clean (but not overly-so). With a shockingly minimal ingredient list, I know there's nothing in it that will irritate my skin or interfere with my acne treatment or moisturizer. As I keep the bar at my bathroom sink, I also use it to wash my hands. One bar lasts me about eight weeks with daily use on hands and face. I usually buy this soap by the bar from my local organic grocery, which is great because it has absolutely zero packaging. My favorite Sappo Hill's soap is deffenitly oatmeal. It smells like a big bowl of oatmeal and has lots of large real oats in it as well. It helps exfoliate my skin & keeps it soft without drying it out. I threw away all of the chemicals after I tried the Sappo Hill Almond Soap. The cruelty-free, vegetarian, and God-sent soap completely cleared up my skin. I have personal proof that vegetarian products are better than animal-tested, artificial chemicals! Also, it has no fragrance, no sneezing. It cleans, no "BO". Simply perfect! I've tried two other varieties of Sappo Hill's soap--lavender and sandalwood -- and all are top quality and long-lasting. What the world needs now is more natural soap, so please keep on making soap.
No more stomach discomfort !
I've had acid reflux over two periods in my life: early twenties and late thirties. First time went away on its own after 3 miserable years. Came back more than a decade later, a year and a half ago. Went from tolerating quite spicy Indian, Mexican, Thai with no problems to being unable to eat a tomato or a slice of pizza or some chocolate without 4-5 hours of really bad acid. Turned to Zantac, 150mg extra strength because anything less was ineffective. Ended up taking Zantac 4 out of 7 days a week on average for almost a year, even though I was avoiding any triggers. I was miserable and I was unable to fix the problem, only cover the symptoms. That's the background story. Fast-forward. Friend recommended probiotics. I tried UAS Labs, Probioplus DDS. Take it together with a bunch of other supplements, just added 1 i-Flora a day. Two days into the treatment the acid went away, permanently. It's now been more than a month, and my digestive health has never been this good. The acid is a long forgotten memory. I can eat spicy food again. I've had Thai, Mexican, Indian, pizza. I even had some fried food (rare treat, used to cause a lot of acid). Nothing, not a single mild annoyance. The occasional gas and cramps: gone. Habits are now as regular as clockwork. Sorry to be graphic, but this is digestive health so might as well: stool is consistent, regular, healthy and near odorless. My whole digestive system has NEVER been this healthy. Pros: - Started working in 48 hrs - Chronic and very bad acid reflux GONE COMPLETELY - Occasional gas and cramps, gone - Stomach, bowel working better than ever - Can eat spicy food again, without any problems - Can eat heavy or rich food, no problems Cons: NONE It really did make a huge difference in my life. Any doctor should be ashamed for not suggesting probiotics to solve the cause instead of pharmaceuticals to cover-up symptoms. I'm so glad my friend recommended probiotics and this brand did the trick.
