I have been using alternative medicine for 20+ years. I’m passionate about learning all I can to help me and my loved ones to maintain or return to radiant health. I love reading reviews on iHerb, *and* I trust my own doctors and my body’s wisdom to determine what is right for me. I’m committed to shopping locally…and often iHerb has the very best prices I can find, so I’m a happy shopper here as well. Thank you for visiting my page. Be well and happy! :)
I had been buying the 1 or 2 oz. sizes regularly from local health food stores, but this is *so* much more economical since I use so much of it! NOTE--he smaller sizes are packaged to dispense 1 drop at a time, while this larger size uses a regular pour style opening. I will keep ordering this size (or the 16 oz) as refills for the 2 oz. size bottles with the dropper cap. I live in a very old house with lots of holes that deer mice like to slip through. I read that using peppermint essential oil on strategically placed cotton balls helps to deter mice from entering a home. Of course if you can figure out where they come in, plug those holes as well as you can! If you do use cotton balls, they need to be refreshed regularly, at least every couple of weeks. I also use this oil in our car, as I learned that mice can get in the car, under the hood, etc. and cause a lot of damage when they gnaw. I also like to use it in the home diluted in a mister bottle as a freshening room spray. When I did so I seemed to kill off a disturbingly large number of Asian lady beetles (they look like pale Ladybugs but secrete something that smells AWFUL) that made their way into the house. I hear that ants and other insects also peppermint. It can be an eye irritant and quite the sinus cleaner if you use too much around the house, but it doesn't bother us at all. I'm so very grateful for this fresh and natural way to combat rodents and other pests.
I was looking for a good, natural form of Vitamin C and found Camu Camu here on iHerb. I had never heard of this little Amazonian fruit, which is similar to a cherry. I found these veggie caps an easy size to swallow, and easy on my stomach unlike some acidy vitamin C supplements I have tried. It's an excellent antioxidant, and there are studies showing it can be helpful for attention deficit disorder and depression. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Heal well! :)
Someone in my life has chronic Lyme disease, so I try to learn all I can to help. Herbalist Stephen Buhner, author of "Healing Lyme" and many other excellent books also has a specific website to address healing Lyme. That's where I first learned of nattokinase used to remove Lyme biofilm. I appreciate that nattokinase is made from fermented soybeans. I know that some folks rave about lumbrokinase, but I can't deal with the thought of a supplement made from worm by-products. Nattokinase is also *much* more affordable. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, especially with any chronic or serious illness. "LLMD" stands for "Lyme literate medical doctor," someone who has more experience in diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. Lyme manifests differently in people, often with different co-infections, so what is right for one (or at one stage of the game) might not be right for another. Take good care of yourself, and heal well! :)

I bought the Jarrow Toco-Sorb as I read that the absorbability was much better for this form of Vitamin E. My cholesterol levels are fantastic, and I believe that alternating high quality vitamin E has helped with that. I have read pros and cons about palm oil over the years, so do your research to decide if this seems like a good supplement for your own health issues. Heal well! :)

My sweetie swears by this vitamin. When he takes just a couple a day (rather than 3 with each meal as suggested) he finds that his energy and all-around feeling of wellness are much better. I can't take them because I find them hard to swallow, too dry and large for me. The ingredients are amazing, a blend of nutrients in their whole food state, nothing synthetic here. The antioxidants are from fruits and veggies, tonic mushrooms and sea veggies add super benefits you may not get in your regular diet. NOTE that coffee extract and green tea are part of the blend, so depending on your situation these could either be energy-enhancing or too stimulating. Play with the dose and build it up, don't try 9 the first day for instance. If you have allergies/sensitivities or complicated health issues read labels carefully because in a comprehensive blend like this you may find something tucked in there that you shouldn't be taking. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Here's to your radiant wellness! :)
I have been using this product for many years, originally suggested by my Naturopath. I use it in rinse water for fruits and veggies to clean and disinfect from potential germs, pesticides, e coli, etc. I use it to similarly disinfect counters and floors, washable air filters, on and on, just a bit diluted in water. It's super bitter, FYI. I have used directly on stubborn skin issues, but in general do dilute a bit or a lot. There is a lot of good info out there about using it to help to heal issues like Candida, help support Lyme healing, fungus, parasites, etc. etc. Just know that die-off/herx symptoms may emerge and you can feel worse before better. Back off your dosage if you need to for a bit, and always consult your own practitioners for medical advice. The fact that it kills e coli, staph, salmonella, etc. means that I will *always* keep it on hand for my medicine cabinet, and when traveling!
I love frankincense and myrrh, and this delicious bath bar is no exception. It’s generously sized and lasts a long time. The ingredients are good for my skin, including macadamia seed oil, vitamins, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, and raw shea butter, which can be kind of pricy. I look forward to my showers with this soap. I love the sumptuous scent, and it feels nourishing and decadent to use. There is some cardamom, ginger and black pepper rounding out the scent and adding a very mild warm spiciness overall. My skin is ultra sensitive, but I find this soap mild and non-irritating, and it doesn’t dry my skin out. I love this soap, and keep coming back for more!

I bought these for my sweetie who swears that when he takes vitamin E he doesn't need to get up to urinate 2 or 3 times during the night. He has always been a stickler for the mixed tocopherols, and I missed when I ordered these based on price and reviews that they are d-alpha tocopheryl acetate and not mixed tocopherols. I like and trust the Country Life brand so much, and I have had such good experiences with their other products that I just ordered it without carefully looking at their description. He reported he was actually surprised that these "got the job done" for him in a way he never experienced except with mixed tocopherols. For the price, quality and effectiveness we will be ordering these again. I also like that they are certified gluten-free so I can borrow them from him when I want. :)

When blood tests showed my D levels were extremely low I started taking these softgels instead of the 50,000 unit pills per week my doctor prescribed. I just did not feel well on the prescription. I took healthy Origins D3 2,400 IU twice a day for some weeks, then one a day til my levels were in a healthier range. Now I alternate between 1,000 IU per day and these for upkeep. If you supplement with Vitamin D please do get your levels rechecked to make sure you aren't overdoing it over the long haul. Heal well! :)

Lactobacillus GG is one of the strains of probiotic with the most scientific study behind it. Different strains of probiotics affect the body differently. Please do some research, but among other physical symptoms this strain may treat especially well are pouchitis, the often difficult to treat Clostridium difficil (c diff) and eczema. A dear friend experienced painful pouchitis after colon surgery, and I wish I had known that this supplement was perhaps what could give her some relief. For me it was just an attempt to use beneficial bacteria after too many antibiotics. I found it very effective, and would highly recommend this brand and strain to others. Because different strains work better for different conditions, talk to your doctor to decide what supplement is best for you. If taking to offset antibiotics do take them at least a few hours apart so they don't work against each other. Here's to your radiant health! :)
