Why Use Degradable Beco Bags?
- 1 million plastic bags are used every minutes!
- A standard plastic bag can take up to 1,000 years to degrade!
- Standard plastic bags remain toxic even after they break down!
Beco Bags make cleaning up after your pet as eco-friendly as possible. Unlike other bags, Beco Bags are completely degradable and will break down after you dispose of them.
They're extra thick, so they don't split and fit perfectly in our Beco Pockets or other bag dispensers.
Beco Bags are manufactured with a degradable additive. This additive allows them to be recycled with other standard bags, but importantly they are also degradable. Tested to carious international standards, including ASTM D6954 and EN 13432 toxicity, Beco Bags will degrade within 1 year, depending on where they are disposed. To achieve fast degradation please ensure your bags are disposed of in compost sites, where they will have access to the correct temperatures and moisture levels. Disposing of Beco Bags into general waste for landfill will mean that the bag will take longer to degrade.
