Size Options:

Size A

For use after vaginal childbirth

Size B

For use before vaginal childbirth or after a C-section

The Moon Cup Size A is designed for women who have given birth vaginally or are over 35 years of age, while the Moon Cup Size B is meant for women who have not given birth vaginally.

The Moon Cup is innovative, economical, comfortable, and environment-friendly. This soft, silicone menstrual cup collects the flow rather than absorbing it, so the vaginal tissues aren't dried out as they can be with disposable tampons. The Moon Cup holds up to an ounce of fluid and should be emptied several times a day; simply rinse and reinsert. The Moon Cup can last up to ten years, saving you over $800 in disposable products!

Suggested Use

Menstrual cups catch your flow rather than absorbing it. To use the Moon Cup, simply fold it twice and insert. Empty and reinsert as often as you would change a tampon.

Detailed instructions, plus a cotton carry bag, are included in this box.

I'll never go back

Softer than its rubber predecessor, the Moon Cup is easy to insert and remove. I'll never go back to tampons.

Diva cup vs moon cup

Posted by desertanddates on August 4 2016 | Verified Purchase

I prefer the moon cup to the diva cup, it's softer silicone and also a little smaller. The producer of moon cup also suggests that it can be used for many, many years.

Trying to work out which size?? this might help

Posted by iHerb Customer on July 19 2016 | Verified Purchase

I am over 40yrs, had two c-sections, no natural births, tall athletic build (if that has any relevance, I dunno). I started with the size A as advised by ad info because I am over 40yrs, it was mostly fine. But I did find it difficult to get in and out, literally like it got stuck. So finally decided to try the smaller sizeB and voila perfect comfort. So glad I changed sizes. Now it is a totally perfect product for me. Love it beyond explanation. Way cheaper, way more hygienic and healthier, can stay in longer, once you get used to it you will never go back. It does take a few cycles to really get the swing of it though. Well Worth the effort!!

Bye Bye pads n tampons!

Posted by iHerb Customer on May 3 2016 | Verified Purchase

After searching for a more eco alternative to disposable pads, tampons, and liners, I decided to give the MOON CUP (US) a try and couldn't be happier! This cup has a firm rim which is excellent at letting you place correctly and stop any leakages. The Pull down tab which replaces a 'string' 's function on a tampon is a little long so some ladies may like to trim it. Excellent turnaround time from iHerb and reasonable price. Never going back to pads/tampons !

I haven't give up, but this is hard to get used to...

Posted by iHerb Customer on March 16 2016 | Verified Purchase

I'm having a hard time getting used to using the Moon cup. I find it uncomfortable and have trimmed the stem, but it's tricky to know how much to trim. I also find it difficult to remove, and that I sometimes feel a lot of pressure when I have it in. I am done with my cycle and reluctant to give it another go, but I am going to keep trying. I've read a lot of Q&A on this product and it seems like it's normal for it to take time to get used. I did not do this, but I recommend trying washable cloth panty liners and pads along with the moon cup so you have some alternative eco friendly options.
