In a large sauce pan, combine water, TreLEAFia, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, black pepper, salt and bring to a boil. Boil gently until the TreLEAfia is dissolve, about 5 minutes. Add the apples, blueberries and vanilla extract and return to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, stirring occasionallyh, until the apples are very tender and the mixture thickens, about 20 minutes.
