Caprotein is a premium quality whole protein powder produced from goat milk. It contains a natural ratio of both whey protein and casein protein.

Caprotein is partially predigested via a process called lacto-fermentation. This process assists in the digestion and absorption of key nutrients while providing the body with beneficial probiotics and enzymes.

Suggested Use

Mix 20 grams (2 heaping tbsp) with 8 oz. of water or other liquid and shake vigorously. Tastes great in smoothies, yogurt, hot cereals, and muffins.

Other Ingredients

Goat milk protein, fermented goat milk protein, natural vanilla flavor, probiotic cultures.

No chemicals or preservatives added.

Contains: Goat milk.

Very happy with Caprotein...

I decided to try Caprotein because I needed to find a different protein powder. It was time for a change. I'm very happy with this one. It is goat milk based which is different than cows milk. Plus it has fermented goat milk protein and probiotic cultures. I don't have any allergic reaction to it. This may not be the case for everyone. But it's worth trying if you need a change.

To the reviewer who claimed that "Also, company is embroiled in litigation regarding contamination with lead. There is a consumer warning on the side."-- What is your source? I can't find this anywhere on the internet. If you're referring to a California’s Proposition 65 warning label, you will find it on some of the best products manufactured by the best supplement companies-- because "Businesses subject to Prop 65 are required to provide a warning if they cause exposures to chemicals listed as causing birth defects or reproductive harm that exceed 1/1000th of the 'no observable effect level'...Unfortunately, there are heavy metals in our planet’s soils, water, and air from years of using leaded gasoline, pesticides and chemical fertilizers, industrial pollution, etc. There are also naturally occurring levels of heavy metals. Unfortunately Prop 65 does not differentiate between natural organic metals and inorganic metals, though the biological effects are often quite different. Even if the sources of contamination are reduced, heavy metals may remain in the soil and water for a long time. Prop 65 has been extremely cautious in determining the no significant, or no observable, effect levels. Some herbs and other raw materials may pick up levels of heavy metals that are above the levels established by Prop 65 even if organically grown." This information is given at other quality supplement companies' websites, but for this particular company, you can read it here: https://www.mtcapra.com/prop65/

My 18 year old son is delighted with this product. He adds it to his kefir smoothies as a great snack or meal on the run.

Tasty & Easy

Good taste. Easy on digestion. Nice for added protein in post-exercise drinks or snacks or even to boost protein of an otherwise small meal by mixing into goat yoghurt or goat kefir (with chia seeds for more nutritional punch!) Great alternative for those of us who must avoid cow dairy!
