NOW Boswellia Extract is a standardized extract of Boswellia serrata, also known as Frankincense, a resinous botanical that has been used for centuries by traditional Ayurvedic herbalists. The bioactive constituents of Boswellia, Boswellic Acids, have been shown in scientific studies to affect key enzymes involved in the maintenance of healthy tissues. Through these mechanisms, Boswellia may help to support the immune system's balanced response to the typical wear and tear of everyday life.

This is a life saver. I was taking 800mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day. My knees hurt so bad like shin splits but in the knees. After taking this the pain is almost gone, I can walk and get around without thinking about my knees pain. I take 1 in morning and 1 at night. It took a little while to take effect in the beginning. Now I notice if i don't have. I have added collagen hydrolysate to further my recovery.

I suffer from osteoarthritis and take a number of different supplements to alleviate the pain, Boswellia being one of them. I have been successful in being almost pain-free, without the use of analgesics. This product is stronger, better and cheaper than other Boswellia products on the market in Australia, so I'll keep using it and I recommend it to anyone who suffers from OA. iHerb is also good in dispatching my order promptly and offering various discounts, so I recommend them as well. Terry C.

Very Mild

Posted by iHerb Customer on Nov 06, 2017 | Verified Purchase

I tried this for its anti inflammatory effects, i have stenosis of the spine which is in need of operation to relieve lower back pain which is relieved taking anti inflammatory drugs like diclofenic or advil which effect my kidney function increasing water retention and therefore increasing blood pressure, so i tried this product because it has no side effects as it does not block cox2 enzyme, i tried maximum dose maybe its better than nothing for pain or its the placebo effect, it seems to me anything that workes could have side effects? It may work for very mild inflammation but its not for me im afraid.
