Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Magnesium is a mineral that is critical for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, never impulse transmission, and bone mineralization. It is a required cofactor for an estimated 300 enzymes. Among the reactions catalyzed by these enzymes are fatty acid synthesis, protein synthesis, and glucose metabolism. Magnesium status is also important for regulation of calcium balance through its effects on the parathyroid gland.

"Combination forms" of magnesium such as this one have cured chronic constipation I've had for over 40 years, since childhood! I take one a day and that keeps me regular better than anything else I've tried over the years. It has made my stools soft and easy to pass, with no feeling of urgency. I began with 500 mg from another brand with great results, then had to reduce the dosage because my stools were getting too loose. Now I am needing to adjust the dosage again, so with continued use, you will need less for the same great results!Adjust the dose and frequency according to your body's needs and you may be happily surprised with the results too. The capsules are easier to swallow than tablets, and I have found that only the combination forms of magnesium such as NOW and Life Extension brands work this great for me, better than oxide or citrate alone.
Magnesium aspartate is an excitatory neurotransmitter (not desirable)

Hi, Came down with pericarditis after trying this blend. I'm pretty sure it's not the Magnesium oxide as I've had it before. Pretty sure it's not the Magnesium citrate as that's also common. That leaves only the Magnesium aspartate. Sure enough a search of the net finds that aspartate is an excitatory neurotransmitter and a number of people have reported pericarditis (or symptoms that sound like pericarditis). Pericarditis is just the inflammation of the lining of the heart (the pericardium). It can feel like a heart attack but eases when you sit up. VitC seems to make it ease up as do EFA's (hemp oil). It took about a week to resolve the first time... then I took some more magnesium (didn't realise it had caused the problem in the first place) and it came back. I'm very sensitive to stimulants... which might explain the strong reaction... and it's quite likely it wouldn't affect most people this way. The dose is given as 400 mg but it doesn't break down the types of magnesium. Presuming that the doses are even that means about 125 mg of magnesium aspartate. I'm surprised that so little could wreak so much havoc. Hopefully this review might be useful to someone else who has run into this problem? This doesn't seem to be an isolated incident... and given the paucity of information on the net I'd expect that a lot more people have had this problem but didn't put two and two together. It turns out that in pericarditis aspartate aminotransferase (the enzyme that breaks down aspartate) is elevated... suggesting raised aspartate (of dietary origin?) may be the trigger for pericarditis? Anyone else had this problem? Got to give this a thumbs down given the bad reaction. :-(
With good impressions abou product and service

We read about the product in Interner and were happy to buying this product from your firm. The quality of product is high, packing is good and delivery was performed during reasonably short time. We shared some of the product with one family and recommended the product and your firm to our friends. We certainly will make new order after some time (when consuming the product!). Many thanks.
