Didnt Work For Me At All.

Serum is meant to be used before your moisturizing cream because it should absorbe to the deeper layers of the skin. Instead this serum it it just a oily compound that leaves your skin not glowing but oily and shinny-wet. Avoid if you have normal yo oily skin.

Not sure this is really a serum, its really a face oil. Which I love, very hydrating and plumping. Recommended.

There are much better, natural, more effective brands out there. Acure has been all hype for me.

"this face care range.... Prepare to be awed, make-up ladies"

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 29, 2017 | Verified Purchase

OK, so I am moved to write about this face care range. But two things: 1) I am going to be honest (see TRUTH & DISCLAIMER notices); and 2) I am going to retract everything and look at alternatives if they jack up the price when the demand for these goodies goes up. (That happened once after I helped spread the word about a particular food product to a previously untapped yet large market – very disappointing – and now I eat that food a lot less regularly.) I am a Dr Hauschka gal from way back. Their stuff has always been expensive. On occasions when my supply was depleted and I open-mindedly tried something else, I went running back as soon as I had dollars. I think of health, including skin care, as the ultimately safe investment so price alone is never the deciding factor. But as I am in transition between income sources, I decided to look for an inexpensive alternative to the famous products from the homeopathic company, which started with their own gardens and now uses raw materials from certified organic or biodynamic sources “as much as possible.” After all, the skin care plan is not sustainable if it is not within budget. So, I was delighted to find iHerb with their very competitive pricing, and decided to try the Acure range which is certified USDA organic. I’m not going to pretend to have done the research into what a USDA organic certification actually means so, if you are an expert in that area, feel free to comment. It was one of the deciding factors, however, in my decision to try it. And the price, well let’s just say I got the entire range for what I would pay for one Dr Hauschka product. TRUTH & DISCLAIMER: I don’t know how long the products will last, so a full cost comparison can’t be done yet. I’ll get back to you on this. In short, I have forced myself to type this review as a way to keep from touching my face. I love the results I got from my first time trying the Acure range. And most of you know this, but to be clear: touching your face without freshly washed hands tends to spread bacteria and that is not good for your skin. Excessive touching even with clean hands can cause irritation… and it’s just weird, so I’m not doing that. Besides, I have sensitive skin according to my makeup lady. For my sensitive skin, I purchased the Acure Organics Sensitive Facial Cleanser Fragrance Free, Acure Organics Brightening Facial Scrub, Acure Organics Facial Toner Balancing Rose + Red Tea, Acure Organics Sensitive Facial Cream Argan Oil + Amino Acids Fragrance Free, and Acure Organics Seriously Glowing Facial Serum. TRUTH & DISCLAIMER: Fragrance Free means you get to smell the active ingredients without cover-up, and this will not appeal to everyone, but I enjoyed this. So, true story. I used the products today in preparation for an important meeting, you know the kind you have when you are in between revenue streams. And by the time I had cleansed and exfoliated, toned, moisturized and added the serum, I decided to forgo make-up! TRUTH & DISCLAIMER: I do not know how to apply make-up. The cosmetics I own are a compilation of products received whenever I get my make-up done for a special occasion… or an interview. But today was a big meeting and I had planned for a week to devote some time to applying make-up, even practiced successfully at the weekend. However, after using Acure, I kept looking in the mirror and knew that with my make-up skills, I would not be able to improve on the results I got with these products. Happy, nailed the interview, not the interviewer – married (but so cute). And I am looking forward to the make-up lesson I am booking in preparation for my next series of big meetings. For the lesson, they tell you, “come with a clean face.” I can do that! Thanks, Acure. Prepare to be awed, make-up ladies, with the dewy smoothness that will arrive… if I don’t have break-outs from touching my face. © EMR Blessed This review is already too long so I will write separate reviews on each product. This was my first purchase with iHerb – easy to order, good communication, package arrived quickly and without inflated shipping costs.

Nourishing And Glowy

Posted by iHerb Customer on Aug 28, 2017 | Verified Purchase

Normal-slightly oil skin like mine loves this serum. It smells sooo good, and my skin looks more glowy after I use this. (By the way, I am Chinese living in humid hot Singapore, and am in my early 30s.) I use one drop of it (half pump) morning and evening. Also started using the Avalon Organics coQ10 wrinkle therapy alongside this. Both have improved my skin tone without makeup.
