Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Really great for my hair!!!
Really great for my hair!!!
I ADORE this conditioner! I have kinky/curly African-American hair which causes it to be very, very dry. I've also started to notice my hair thinning with really hard dry patches in the crown area; along with this and rosemary oil, vetiver oil and jojoba oil (alternately) massaged into those areas, my hair has improved DRAMATICALLY in the few weeks that I've started using it. I use it as an instant and a deep conditioner ( for deep conditioning, I just leave it on longer and sometimes apply heat) and it really makes my hair soft and full of ringlets instead of the usual frizz. My hair also has stopped breaking off so easily and I'm noticing less hair in the shower drain after shampooing. I think it would work fine on oily hair too if a smaller amount is used as it rinses away clean. I also like that the bottle it comes in is "low-frillls" as I know that would make the price go up. This is really a great product; I like it much better than the "Beautiful Curls" line which I've also tried and the Surya which is fine just not as good - more toxic ingredients too ( but it is better than Beautiful Curls - I have to use wayyy too much of it and end up re-ordering too quickly. And it's not cheap!) Try this one! (also, if you are experiencing thinning hair - biotin supplements also seem to be working for me also. But this is not medical advice - just sharing my experience. Good luck!)
Best Conditioner I have ever tried

I use this Conditioner in conjunction with Alaffia, Neem & Shea Recovery Shampoo. It works perfectly: not too much nor too little oil with a gentle fragrance. My hair is soft, controllable, and my scalp very happy. I appreciate the philosophy of Alaffia and the fact this is made in the U. S. A.
Refreshing and creamy

this conditioner definitely leaves your scalp feeling refreshed however it doesn't do much for retaining moisture in my 4b dry hair. It's also so thick that you have to leave the bottle upside down in the shower or else it is hard to get it out.
not for me

In the shower, this conditioner makes my hair fall out like crazy. Clumps of hair are in my drain. I threw the bottle out.

I had low expectations for this conditioner, coz there are too many similar products out there. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It is rich and nourishing, yet not greasy for my oily scalp at all; on the contrary, it seems to control the excessive oil production. It smells like neem and some other herbs. The smell (scent?) is a bit strong, but not repulsive. Overall it's effective and well-priced. I recommend it to anyone with oily scalp and fine hair.
