Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Pretty good fluoride-free toothpaste, but contains SLS and glycerin.
Pretty good fluoride-free toothpaste, but contains SLS and glycerin.
This ayurvedic herbal toothpaste is suitable for people suffering from acid reflux, heartburn and gastritis, because it doesn't contain mint which may aggravate these conditions. Unlike many other toothpastes, this one is free of fluoride, parabens, propylene glycol, PEGs, saccharin and other synthetic additives, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, colors or harsh abrasives, but it does contain sodium lauryl sulfate. Even though SLS is not a dangerous and toxic carcinogen or endocrine disruptor, it's a potential skin, eye and lung irritant and may cause allergy in some individuals. Glycerin is a safe ingredient but sometimes may interfere with the remineralization of the tooth enamel. All the other ingredients are great, though: fine chalk and silica gently clean the teeth without damaging the enamel, while clove oil and a powerful blend of peelu, neem, indian licorice root, pomegranate rind, common jujube, rose apple, clove, persian walnut, barleria prinoitis bark, Indian almond, bedda nut, Asian holly oak, pri ckly ash, zanthoxylum alatum, sappan wood, catechu, bengal madder, acacia arabica bark, sarsaparilla, cinnamon, medlar bark, mayweed and bishop's weed flower extracts prevent and reduce plaque and tartar build-up by killing harmful tooth decay-causing bacteria and stimulating the growth of tooth-protective, non-acidic bacteria, remove stains, strengthen the enamel, help prevent caries, relieve the symptoms of gingivitis and parodontosis, heal sore gums, reduce redness and inflammation, fight halitosis and prom ote fresh breath, carrageenan (natural, not its degraded and chemically processed variety, poligeenan) is a thickener made from seaweed, cellulose gum is a natural binder and viscosity increasing agent. Overall, it's a pretty good toothpaste, and unlike mint toothpastes, it doesn't provoke my acid reflux or irritate my stomach lining, but it would be much better without SLS and glycerin.
Auromere Mint Free Toothpaste

I started using a mint free toothpaste when I was diagnosed with GERD (acid reflux). Dropping mint out of my diet and life has made my life a lot more comfortable, especially not using a minty toothpaste right before bed. This is really a good one, it has licorice, which is an anti inflammatory, and leaves a fresh taste in your mouth. It's different than the minty taste, but you'll soon not notice the difference. IHerb was half the price of the store I was buying this from...all in all, a great deal!

I love this toothpaste, which has sufficient abrasion properties to really make my teeth feel smooth after brushing, and seems delightfully "natural." I floss every night and use Auromere Mint-Free toothpaste with a Philips Sonicare brush. The results have been exceptional, helping me to reduce my needed visits for teeth scraping from every three to every six months. My gum "pockets" are now smaller and my gum health is now excellent. Auromere Mint-Free toothpaste is at least partially responsible for this improvement. Thank you Auromere.
Everyone says it's so great

I just dont quite get it... It is a heavy tan paste that doesn't foam up much and doesn't really leaves me feeling clean. I even feel like it's darkening my teeth. The first minute it feels ok then it starts burning a bit, im quite sensitive to that. I'm still on the search for a good mild SLS free toothpaste.
Burns my mouth

Nice toothpaste with average effect, but for some reason the foam burns my mouth and lips (after rinsing with water it's OK, but no other toothpaste has ever caused this - even the ones with mint flavor) so due to this discomfort I shorten the teethbrushing as much as I can . For me the licorice one was a lot better.
Great product, great taste

This is a lovely toothpaste. I originally chose it on the advice of my homeopath, now I would use it regardless as it works very well leaving my mouth and teeth fresh and clean.
