I had been looking for something that would be "earth friendly" and also easy to use. I was hesitant to try these, but after reading many positive reviews on the internet about them, I decided to give the "Diva Cup" a try. I'm so glad that I did. It took 2 months to be using it "like a pro". It's comfortable, clean and very quick to use. I only have to use a small panty liner as an 'emergency back up' with it, but it wasn't ACTUALLY needed. The cup does a great job. No leaks when used correctly. The instructions that come with it are easy to read and have pictures to demonstrate. Since I am no longer having to buy heavy tampons and thick pads, this will pay for itself. I have since bought another one. One to keep at home in the bathroom, and one to keep in my purse (in case i'm out and my period starts) I'm traveling this summer, and plan on keeping both in my purse. I can use one, remove it and replace it with the clean one. Then I can just wrap up the used one and wash it with soap when i get to a 'private' sink and then store it again for the next use. I reccomend that if you are in doubt about this product, to just do a quick search on Google and there are many discussion boards with tips and reviews that are so helpful. Well worth the money!

Take a little lime to learn how to insert it and taking it out but once you get the hang of it its absolutely life changing!

It took me a few days to learn how to properly insert the cup, but once I did I was very surprised by how great this product is. This is far more comfortable than tampons and not messy at all. I don´t even notice that i´m wearing it. I don´t have a very heavy flow, so I have been able to wear it for over 8 hours at the time with no leakings at all. Recommend it!
Rough the first few times, it gets better

I bought this on a whim because I was tired of paying for tampons. The first two periods this thing was awful, uncomfortable, couldn't get a seal on it, fell out a few times. Then I started figuring it out - there's no real advice to be had except to be persistent and figure out how it works with your body specifically. My biggest complaint though is that I can't wear this while baby-wearing. It seems that the extra weight practically shoots the thing out ;)
