My newfound freedom...
My newfound freedom...
After years of using pads and tampons it took me a while to be comfortable with using the diva cup, but once I got the hang of it, there was no going back! I love! the diva cup! Not just because of the money it saves or that it has less impact on the environment, but the new found freedom I now have! No more being chained to making sure I have enough pads and tampons stockpiled or making a mad dash to the supermarket, no more hoping people don't spy me making a grab for the "hidden pocket" in my bag as I dash to the loo! It's given me a new found freedom I didn't think I would ever have! Thank you Diva Cup!
Well worth it

I'm glad I decided to try this and I'll keep using it. Recommend giving it a go! Pros: feel clean and fresh; easy to store and clean; easy to change in the shower mornings and evenings; use less sanitary products Cons: can sometimes feel the stem (need to trim the stem and work on pelvic floor muscles!); it feels uncomfortable to remove; can take a few cycles to get used to
It took some getting used to

I have been using a diva cup for over 2 years now and I love it. It took months to get the hang of how to put it in properly and I still use backup liners some days when I am heavy or not sure it's in right. I have saved a lot of money with this product and it is far more reliable than tampons or even pads. I had a friend talk to me about how to use it which helped, I would recommend changing it in the shower when you're first getting used to it. It works best if you have some natural moisture or lubricated area (it 'slips' into place easier) if you are at the end of your period or light flow/dryish it can be a real pain to get it to sit right but once it's there you can leave it ALL DAY. Heavy days or beginning days I change it every 4-5 hours, towards the end/light days it can wait up to 12 hours. Some days it can still be frustrating to use and takes time to set in the right spot (especially with long nails) but nowhere near as uncomfortable or frustrating as the alternatives as you know once its in, you have nothing to worry about.
No more pads

It was uneasy when first tried using this.Need to get use to the pain induced when taking out the cup. After the first time, the following just gets easier and faster. Love the feel of not having menstrual at all as don't have to feel the bulkiness in the pants! This product is an genius invention for those who dont like the feel of pads/tampons and also the overflowing, and of course not to say about the possible health hazards which may be caused the pads/tampons.

Shipment arrived quickly, first day using the cup feels natural but a bit felt at the tip only. I was afraid that the inserting would be difficult yet as long as you are comfortable with the fold it will be easy to enter.Still getting used to it but feels very natural.

Honestly, idk what i would do without this. The concept is genius! There is definitely a learning skill to this type of product however it's worth it. look up loads of videos on YouTube if you're struggling or concerned about anything. The only reason why i'm giving it 4/5 stars is that on my 1st and 2nd day of my period it just doesnt fit as well as i would like it to. it just still sticks out a little even though ive cut the stem and it is a pricey kind of product. I might try and investigate the lunette cup as it claims to be a bit smaller. handy to have the measurements on the side so you really get to know how much you bleed each day. definitely worth a try!
