Toast or microwave (approx. 30 seconds)

Storage Recommendations:
Ener-G Foods recommends that once opened products be put into an airtight container and refrigerated. Freezing our products in their original packages causes them to dry out and crumble. If you wish to freeze our products it is best to remove them from their original packages and place them in a freezer friendly container. Once opened our products can last a few days, with refrigeration they last approximately 1 week.

Brown rice bread

This bread is definately best toasted. It has a slight strange after taste. But it was ok.

Only if you dare...

I'm normally supportive of products that I buy from IHERB, but not this one. It arrived feeling more like a brick of dough than a loaf of bread. In fact, I believe it was not fully baked, as I found small areas of uncooked dough within some of the slices. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it. It's useless for grilled cheese sandwiches (my main reason for buying it) due to the fact that it is so heavy. It really needs to be cooked/toasted before trying to use it for anything else. I put it in the waffle maker to try to pre-cook it, but was still heavy and lay in my stomach like a brick. But hey, you might get lucky and get a loaf that's been baked properly. I've previously bought this brand's Tapioca Loaf and enjoyed the flavor, in spite of the small loaf size and slightly crumbly texture. I will buy that one again, but never again this one. At the price, it should be excellent... it's not.

Thanks for your feedback!

Not great...

Oh how wish there was a good bread available to people that are gluten, dairy & egg free. It's asking for a lot, I know. Unless I make it myself...I think this is all that's available. Not great.
