Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

- Salsa That Cooks
The tang of sweet roasted tomatillos, aromatic cilantro, slow-cooked garlic and lively serrano chilies makes a salsa beloved throughout Central Mexico. From the majestic Aztec Empire (when tomatillos were on noble tables) until today, tomatillo salsas have been Mexico's foundation of "zing" for everything from totopos (aka tortilla chips) and tostadas to tacos. You can taste our dedication to small-batch salsa made from fresh ingredients.
Distinctive, dynamic and genuine. Naturally.
Tangy Green Guacamole
- 3 large ripe avocados (preferably the pebble-skin Hass variety)
- 1 cup Frontera Tomatillo Salsa

Tomatillos, tomatoes, filtered water, onions, serrano chiles, cilantro, garlic, salt, evaporated cane juice, spices.

This fresh tasting tomatillo, roasted Serrano chile salsa is my absolute favorite and a big hit with guests. I especially love the recipe on the label for the Tangy guacamole...just add avocado & cilantro....super simple but delivers a delicacy like taste that makes you crave more when you run out.
Too many additives

I failed to review the ingredients of this product carefully and unfortunately, it doesn't meet my criteria as a good food option. I do love tomatillo salsa however and wish there was an options with no sugars added and less preservatives.
Lovely but always arrives broken...

I love this salsa and the other frontera salsas as well, but I stopped ordering them because they usually arrive broken T.T

It's too spicy for me and the green color makes it look like puke. Still good, just too spicey
Fresh, simple flavors

The salsa does taste fresh. I prefer tomato salsa to salsa verde, so it was just okay for me. I felt like something was missing ...
BEST salsa on IHERB

I have bought this product while living in Korea, Hong Kong, and now Taiwan. It is my favorite salsa on IHERB, esp. when you live abroad and don't have many options. I'm from Texas, and have even made my own tomatillo salsa from scratch, but this canned salsa usually hits the spot. One thing is that it is a bit too watery for my liking. Perfect on a bean and rice bowl, in tacos, with baked chicken or just with crackers or chips! Highly recommend it!
