For use after vaginal childbirth
For use before vaginal childbirth or after a C-section
Menstrual cups catch your flow rather than absorbing it.
The Moon Cup Size A is designed for women who have given birth vaginally or are over 35 years of age, while the Moon Cup Size B is meant for women who have not given birth vaginally.
The Moon Cup is innovative, economical, comfortable, and environment-friendly. This soft, silicone menstrual cup collects the flow rather than absorbing it, so the vaginal tissues aren't dried out as they can be with disposable tampons. The Moon Cup holds up to an ounce of fluid and should be emptied several times a day; simply rinse and reinsert. The Moon Cup can last up to ten years, saving you over $800 in disposable products!
To use the Moon Cup, simply fold it twice and insert. Empty and reinsert as often as you would change a tampon.
Detailed instructions, plus a cotton carry bag, are included in the box.
This is fantastic

I absolutely love this product, love it, love it! ...and I am saying that after it got stuck inside me too..lol. The first time I used it I think I pushed it to high like you do with a tampon and that was all ok until near the end of my period when it got a bit suctioned in :/ yikes! It took me about 30mins to get it out! And I was truly fearful of using it again on my second cycle. But I braved it and haven't looked back. I had wondered if I had bought the wrong size because I got the size A for woman who've had children or are over 35yrs. I have had children but all by c-section and I am over 35yrs so I got the bigger size (size A). I thought it seemed a wee bit big to begin with (I measured it as 45mm across the width & 83mm from bottom of stem to top edge for length) But I've got the hang of it now and the size is just fine, it's probably about he width of a penis afterall LOL. Frankly, I think I probably would have been fine with either of the sizes but I haven't tried size B. They should really say what the measurements are in the advertising. Anyhow, the trick to not having it suction onto your cervix! is that when you place it inside, just literally have it right at the entry..so you can just feel it. and you can easily feel the end of the stem. I can everso slightly feel it when it's in the right place, it doesn't bother me at all, actually comforts me that it is not climbing up further looking to suction on LOL. I have a pretty mild period so I can wear this easily for 12hrs, it totally amazing, no leaking, comfortable to wear, easy to remove and clean, SO much more hygenic than tampons!! I actually found it easy to remove and empty, not messy at all...if you're out and about it's probably a little more effort but I was able to do this by emptying it and using a water bottle to give it a little rinse and then replacing it. It's fine for sleeping with or swimming. I notice there is a tiny amount of leakage when I lay down with it sleeping but not much at all for me as I don't get a really heavy flow. Might be an issue for woman with a heave period. I probably wouldn't recommend it for woman who've had issues with prolapse....only because of the whole suction issue I had and it getting a bit stuck that one time. I did google and found other woman had also got it stuck just like me...so I'm not alone in that:] When trying to remove it when it was stuck I had to avoid pulling on it directly and had to figure out how to break the suction otherwise it kind of hurt. Wiggling from side to side gently and pushing the cup inwards to break the seal should help if you are lucky enough to have this experience. Anyway it was a real learning curve indeed and quite the comedy in the bathroom, I did have a vision of asking my husband to help me remove it which was really not my idea of keeping the romance alive!! Thankfully it never came to that. But now that I'm past that I think it is the most wonderful thing in the world and wish I'd had one of these things when I was a teenager. Update: been using very successfully for a year, but have just purchased the size B (smaller one) because I was really constantly feeling it was a bit big and have just used the B ...wow what a difference, it is so much easier to get in and out and way more comfortable. so if you have never given birth vaginally...definitely consider size B instead of size A....even if you are over 40yrs as I am. The B is working better for me now. I am a tall too so not a petite size woman.

Not quite satisfied as I have experienced some leaking. But the product is comfortable and very environmental friendly.
