*Fact - Healthy "N Fit pioneered and developed the first 100% Egg Protein over 30 years ago. Since then we have been the leader in egg protein technologies. Our product contains 100% egg white proteins and peptide bond amino acids, as well as the natural enzymes Papain and Bromelain.

*Fact - Healthy 'N Fit was the first company to introduce an all natural egg protein to the market. Our product is free from artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors and preservatives. The chickens our eggs come from are not given hormones (in compliance with USDA regulations for all eggs). This product contains no added sugars, sugar alcohols, fats, salt, milk proteins, gums, fillers, gluten or wheat ingredients. All the amino acids in this product are natural.

*Fact - The Protein Efficiency Ratio (P.E.R.) and Net Protein Utilization (N.P.U) are both renowned and proven scientific methods for rating the quality of a protein and how well the human body can utilize that protein. No other product available has a higher P.E.R. (3.9 or greater) or N.P.U. (94%) than Healthy "N Fit's 100% Egg Protein.

*Fact - A protein's Chemical Score is based on the amino acid profile. Egg protein is considered a nearly perfect source of protein because its amino acid profile most closely matches that needed by the human body. Therefore, egg protein has been given a rating of 100 in the chemical score. Below is a comparison of the chemical score of some other proteins:

  • Healthy 'N Fit 100% Egg Protein - 100% (Highest)
  • Fish Protein - 70%
  • Meat Protein - 69%
  • Milk & Egg Protein (with 10% EGG) - 66%
  • Soy Protein - 47%

Worst protein powder ever

Posted by Reviewer3040869 on Sep 27, 2012 | Verified Purchase

I would not even give this product one star if I could. I opened the container and was hit with a very rotten smell. To be completely fair, I decided to try one serving. It tastes as bad as it smells. AWFUL stuff.

BAD taste AND mixability!

Posted by Reviewer1544942 on Mar 12, 2012 | Verified Purchase

I also don't know how anyone can stand the taste of this product...in a word - YUCK! It also doesn't mix very wel. There are other, much better options out there imho. I have digestion issues with whey protein so I've had to experiment with alternatives. I have tried 3 egg protein powders and this HnF option has been the worst of the bunch by far! I actually am extremely happy with the one I have been using recently (Vitol 100% egg protein), but I ran out and the local store was out of stock. So I went online to research other options and came across the HnF brand, which is extremely close in ingredients to the Vitol powder. Both use only natural ingredients and have digestive enzymes to aid digestion. The Vitol brand happens to have bee pollen as well, though, which is supposed to be a great natural super food. Unfortunately the similarities ended there for me. While the Vitol powder mixes easily in a shaker & tastes truly amazing both in water & milk (with no weird flavor notes or aftertaste), the HnF wouldn't shake smooth for me at all and in fact would glob up, adhere to the shaker grate, and just generally make a mess. I could deal with that I guess, but the taste is miserable to me and I dread drinking it even when I blend it with bananas & peanut butter. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Oh, and Vitol costs less per serving as well. I have also tried Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard egg protein powder and I would rate that above HnF too. It tastes good and mixes well, but has artificial ingredients.

Not for me

Posted by Reviewer2140122 on Mar 01, 2012 | Verified Purchase

Tasted very chemically. Also didn't like the ODOR that is let off (if you know what I mean.) Very offensive BUT my husband loves it and it works well for him.

only protein shake I can drink

Posted by Reviewer1862001 on Jan 31, 2012 | Verified Purchase

I would not say this is the most delicious drink ever but it tastes OK and is the only protein supplement I can take. I'm allergic to soy and whey and so most protein drinks are a no go for me. I don't really like adding anything to it so I just make it with 6 oz of water in a mini blender and drink it down all at once. I'm not a big carnivore so this helps supplement my diet.
