Description
- Energizing Nutrient Drink Mix
- A tasty natural fruit flavored Brain Food for long lasting energy
- Dietary Supplement
Fast Blast was designed and is used by Life Extension scientists Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw. Leap into your day with tasty, natural fruit flavored Fast Blast for very fast and long lasting energy.
Fast Blast fired up your brain naturally and jump starts your day. It contains two important ingredients for activating and making noradrenaline, the brains version of adrenaline and an important neurotransmitter. *
- L-phenylalanine (an essential amino acid ) and its cofactors and other nutrients your brain uses to produce noradrenaline; and
- Caffeine which helps to release noradrenaline and increase sensitivity to its effects.
Fast Blast contains more phenylalanine than standard Blast and also includes glucose (dextrose) and sucrose in order to insure more rapid energy. Normal and natural, noradrenaline is needed by some of your nerve cells to transmit information to one another.
Phenylketonurics: contains phenylalanine
Suggested Use
For adults only. Place one tablespoon of mix in 4 to 8 ounces of cold water or fruit juice. Stir briskly and drink. Serve over ice for best flavor. Consume as desired 1 to 3 times per day. For best results drink immediately after awakening, on an empty stomach, or about one hour before a meal or usual snack time.
Other Ingredients
Glucose, sucrose, natural fruit flavors, malic acid, citric acid, fumaric acid, silicon dioxide, artificial grape flavor.
Contains fish (cod, pollack, haddock, hake, cusk, redfish, sole, flounder). Contains gluten and corn.
This product contains NO milk, egg, peanuts, crustacean shellfish (lobster, crab, shrimp), soybeans, tree nuts, wheat, yeast, or rice. Contains NO artificial sweeteners or colors.
Warnings
Keep Out Of Reach Of Children. Use only as directed. Do not consume more than 2.4 grams of supplement phenylalanine per day. Not for use by children, pregnant or lactating women, persons with the genetic metabolic disorder PKU, psychosis, persons taking prescription MAO (monoamine oxidase) inhibitor drugs, pigmented malignant melanoma cancer patients, those with Wilson's disease, or those who have a violent temper. Excessive consumption of L-phenylalanine or caffeine may cause insomnia, especially when taken in the late afternoon or evening. This is a normal dietary effect of the metabolism of these nutrients in your brain. If overstimulation occurs, reducing the amount consumed by 1/2 will usually correct the problem. If insomnia is a problem, we suggest drinking FAST BLAST only once per day right after you arise in the morning for the first week, and twice per day, upon arising and an hour before lunch, during the second week and thereafter. May cause anxiety, high blood pressure, and headache. Do not use if you have phenylketonuria. Persons with hypertension should use phenylalanine with caution because it can elevate blood pressure in hypertensives. Cancer patients should avoid taking extra phenylalanine and tyrosine because these amino acids can contribute to cancer cell proliferation. Muscular dystrophy patients should avoid both phenylalanine and tyrosine.
